Along similar lines (and you will have to take into account I’m driving on the right) people who are turning left (right in the UK) do a bit of a movement to their right to make the turn. Anyone would think they were driving an articulated lorry, not a Mini! |
Until this morning I’ve managed to avoid the royal coverage. My god what utter drivel. You’d never think you could get so many people talking so much shite for 4 days in a row. They’re now saying they feel like a community member of Balmoral has been lost.
Back to Netflix for me. |
Gyles Brandreth has just said live on the BBC, that Charles is “every inch a King”. Hmmm.

These new bottle tops, found on sparkling water. It goes across brands and retailers. There is clearly some factory somewhere bottling for people who have decided that we should cut and mash our fingers when we open and close a bottle.

People who stick their arm out for a bus to stop for them a million miles away from the next stop, or attempt to keep it waiting with various bits of semaphore whilst they break out into an amble (esp. in traffic-intensive London)
You're either in the appropriate place ready to board immediately or you're not. (I hate you Butler, etc, etc) |
The sound of people eating crisps. Gives me the rage.

When the airline has overbooked the seats and offered me and the good wifey 1300 USD to take the next one, wife goes no!!!!!

Things that annoy you
This may be an American thing, but people who pronounce “short-lived” with the lived said like live TV would be said with “ed” on the end.
(Hard to put in writing) |
The Polish woman who won the U.S open the other day. Just a couple of minutes after she won, instead of walking around and milking the applause of the adoring crowd, she sat down and started texting and reading her phone. The cameras stayed on her for five minutes whilst, instead of consoling her opponent or getting the crowd going on a Sweet Caroline or a knees up, she sat there oblivious to the world, just checking her instagram and her BBS account. Also, she wore a baseball cap that Tone would have loved, which she never once removed from her head. Obviously a nice little earner from the sponsers.

On the same subject, I'm sure I've said this earlier in the thread but people who eat stinky food on trains. For God's sake not everyone enjoys your taste in food and these days you can't even open the window! |
Whilst on the train the other day a girl in front of me took out a plastic food container from her rucksack and removed the lid. The smell of her homemade curry was so pungent, had a match been lit at the time, the whole carriage would have gone up in flames.
I can almost still taste that unwelcome nasal bomb again whilst typing this. :grrr: |

Look up if there is a Ho Hing supermarket in area, they generally have them. Ther is A Wing Yip on the A23 by Purley way, they also should have Durain.
|
I am always amazed how populous Wing Yip is.
|
I guess because it caters for the wider Asian community, not just Chinse.

A recent bill in a restaurant where there was a 4% add on charge for, "Kitchen Administration Fee."
This was totally separate from the regular tip, where you are expected to leave 20%, so that you pick up the slack for the boss who pays the staff below minimum wage. |
The tossers who just torched 2 cars in our rear alley way, one exploded taking out my garden gates..... thankfully nothing else went up other than the roof of another neighbours summerhouse.

Thanks, they almost ran over a neighbour making their get away, so could have been worse. One vehicle is linked to a stabbing by machete wielding youths apparently. So glad I was unaware of it until I heard the explosion.

One for the FMCDA thread. 73 percent of posts on the Things that annoy you thread are about driving, a further 15 percent are about train companies, the rest are nearly all about other people in general.

People at the supermarket that abandon their trolleys in parking spaces as they can’t be bothered to push it back to the bay 20 meters away. Lazy fks
And these selfish twats https://i.postimg.cc/Y9kjZ3t8/6-C3-F...38-C4-E181.jpg There is no pavement in the other side of the road |
For me it’s people parking over dropped curbs and people leaving their bins in the middle of the pavement.

Pulled up in the car park at the gym in New Addington on thursday. Another car pulls up along side me and a young girl who works at the gym got out.
The woman driving the car had a tub of noodles she was eating in one hand, took a big mouthful and then proceeded to chuck the remaining noodles and container out of her window on to the floor of the car park. When she saw that I had spotted her, she called me a 'nosey f**king c**t' and drove off. |

They could have interviewed me and I could have told them about quads stolen, car smashed and threatened for not letting a cut up merchant in, rideon lawnmowers being repeatedly stolen every traveller season, so ins company would not longer Insure. They leave the door wide open now and remove everything before, digger stolen with a tracker shown to be in the local site ( the one mentioned in Surrey) police didn’t want to know and gave an insurance form even though full CCTV. Spitting and causing chaos in a local coffee shop and when asked not to threats etc and they simply carried on. Driveways tarmac’s and charged OAP neighbours extortionate money. Loads of shite dumped in parents small plot “coz they could” putting an common turned into a rubbish tip by an invading horde and again abuse from anyone who dared to even look at them. Delightful group of people. |
