There are no flights you braindead wankers, go back to your hotel, get pissed and make the most out of an extra day or so. |

That droning "Liveeerpool Liiiiverpool" chant, which seems to be the only thing Liverpool fans sing these days. F*cking pony.
And another thing, the way commentators and the media go on about the Anfield Kop as if it's some sort of holy grail of football. The place is an old people's home these days. |

Whilst on the subject of hotels: Wifi fees. They use to fleece us with their telephone charges, then we all got mobiles and the hotel room phone was only used for ordering room service. Now we all have smart phones and wifi laptops they fleece us again. Bastards. |
Same as 'Please do not put tissues in the toilet'. Hellloooooo! Having wiped my backside on some I'm not taking 'em home with me, sorry. Could fill up the bin with 'em but you know the rest...large whiff of rotting curries etc. Can wait till I get to the Brighton changing room before letting rip. Much more satisfying & no tissues required.

My daughter's school refusing to give her medicine at lunch time, which means me having to drive a 9 mile round trip to give her a spoonful of medicine at lunchtime.
I'm on night shifts at the moment. |

20 in a 30 on clear roads is not acceptable. You're not being safe. You're causing danger by making people want to take risks by getting past you. |

Whilst the preference is for medicines to be taken outside of school hours, that's not set in stone if you can demonstrate that's not possible in your child's case. I'd copy this document, highlight the relevant sections and send the school a letter explaining why the medicine has to be taken at lunchtime. Unless the condition is temporary? In which case it might not be worth the effort and aggro. |
Well done, Steve.

Cheers, at work at the mo, will print off and take with me tomorrow morning.

This doesn't appear to be qualifiedby thenumber of times medication needs to be taken! I wouldn't admit defeat so easily; it seems quite explicit. |

Anyway thanks for the help, but the I feel like I'm banging my head against the wall with the school, so I'll just drive up every lunch time to give daughter meds. |

She only has to take medicines until Wednesday, I'm going to print document and give it to one of the governers in the playground on early school run. Probably won't be sorted in time for my daughter, but hopefully they'll change their policy for future cases.
|
Hard luck Mushroom, sounds to me like the Head is deliberately being unhelpful. Their decision is certainly not in the spirit of the Govt document we've been discussing.
I can understand you feeling this isn't worth a big bunfight, as the situation will be finished soon. But your idea of giving it to a Governor and highlighting the relevant sentences might help another parent in the future. |

Oh and away fans who complain that Selhurst Park is a hard ground to get to, especially fans of teams who play in the middle of nowhere.

Children In Need. I know it's a great cause, but why is the content of the TV programme so consistently woeful? It's as it they have a policy of not ever doing anything funny in case they get sued by Comic Relief. I also find that bear and Terry Wogan incredibly annoying.
I've just donated £25 to make up for being such a killjoy. (I've not been well, you know.) |

Stupid questions! Just ordered a takeaway curry and a pint of Cobra. Are you going to wait here or come back to collect your order. I've just ordered a fecking pint to neck whilst I'm waiting so what do you think? If I didn't think they'd spit in the food (they probably do anyway) I would have said yeah the pint was for you I'll be back in half an hour.

I'm getting increasingly irritated by people on public transport who insist, not on sitting next to me, but sitting in the seat on the other side of the gangway, but on the inside nearest to me.
The window seat is free! Keep as far away from me as possible please. It's actually worse than sharing my seat. At least when people sit right next to me it's sort of validating and I feel slightly good about myself. |
