Kaepernick is demanding a $17m yearly increase...

Great for him; shit for our salary cap.

Not worth that IMO.

I think thats the general feeling.

Don't get me wrong, he has frightening talent, but needs to improve on certain aspects of his game before demanding that kind of cash.

Moving from 1st to 2nd option before taking off is one.

He has a worse accuracy under pressure than Michael Vick had. That is very worrying

1.5 seasons. Superbowl and Divisional Play-off.
Plenty of QB's on much higher salary than KP who would die for that record.... in their whole career!

Having said that, davematt is right, will put a dent in the 9ers salary cap and many would argue that KP's record looks so good because of the team around him, a team they can field because they don't currently pay him mega-bucks.

Like throwing the ball to his own teammates in critical situations! :D:p

Sign him up I say and cripple your cap!!

Looks like the 49ers are preparing for life without Kaepernick.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars have finally given up on quarterback Blaine Gabbert.

The No. 10 overall pick in the 2011 draft never became the franchise quarterback former general manager Gene Smith envisioned when he traded two picks to get him and on Tuesday the Jaguars traded him to San Fr

Steve Smith rumoured to be on his way to the Patriots.

I bloody hope not :D

No idea where Paul is, but the Patriots signed Revis to a 1yr, $12M deal. And I have no idea how the Broncos are able to afford D Ware, TJ Ward and Talib. They're gonna be $70M over the cap in 2 years.

And the result has been a 24-hour defensive binge that now includes defensive end DeMarcus Ware (three years, $30 million, $20 million guaranteed); cornerback Aqib Talib (six years, $57 million, $26 million guaranteed); and safety T.J. Ward (four years, $23 million, $14 million guaranteed).

Massive signings for the Broncos...

Decker gone to Jets though

pauldrulez 13-03-2014 08:25 AM

Excellent.

Revis > Talib.

Browner in for a visit tomorrow as well.

I like filling the Secondary with lots of talented players.

Nice arms race between the Broncos/Patriots building up.

I guess there's a limited window now for both QBs.

Panthers are releasing Steve Smith today.

Who is Cam going to throw the ball too?

Hakeem Nicks has to be heading to the Panthers.

The Lions with Stafford, Johnson, Tate and Bush are quite the prospect.

I'm pleased the Eagles have dumped Chung and brought in Jenkins at safety. A huge upgrade on that clown.

A perfect match. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Decker doesn't match his Bronco numbers.
