I had the eagles -4.5 and over 47.5 points at even money :(

won by 2 and was 46 points, they could have kicked the FG at the end ffs

Good year to be a sports fan in Houston.

The Astros lost their last 15 games & the Texans lost their last 14 games.

So we have...

NFC:
1. Seattle Seahawks
2. Carolina Panthers
New Orleans Saints @ Philadelphia Eagles
San Francisco 49ers @ Green Bay Packers

AFC:
1. Denver Broncos
2. New England Patriots
San Diego Chargers @ Indianapolis Colts
Kansas City Chiefs @ Cincinnati Bengals

saxoneagle 30-12-2013 09:35 AM

I'm picking at least two road wins...

Latvian Eagle 30-12-2013 09:48 AM

A lot of Niners fans on here. Better hope your boys wrap up warm for their trip to Green Bay.

:D

Astros needed to guarantee they would get Carlos Rodon.

Morning Jaz! ;)

Credit to the cowboys for fighting hard and pushing us all the way. Cant blame romo for orton being asked to throw it 40 plus times. Barely remember a second half carry for Murray, while the eagles gave it to shady to win us the game.

It's going to be a sad day in philadelphia when garrett is sacked and the boys might finally get a decent coach in.

But for the moment I'm delighted and amazed we are in the playoffs. Bring on the saints!

jazman 30-12-2013 12:07 PM

Throught gritted teeth, fair play to Filly. As soon as Romo was known to be out I never expected us to win this one (see my post a few days back). We gave a good fist of it but not quite enough, Sums up our season really as I do think the way Filly played they were there to be beaten.

But best of luck in the play offs. I hope the Saints smash you. ;) :hi:

Just sums up the weekend for me. Tried to stay awake until half time but more important things have taken place this Christmas for me and my family unfortunately. I was still donning my Cowboys jersey none the less.

But we very nearly did it with Orton as QB .. closer than I thought it would be ...

Saw this last night, the Rams player done well to hang on to the punt.

Quite how an 8-7-1 team gets home field advantage over a 12-4 team is a major problem with the NFL seeding system.

jimos_uk 30-12-2013 02:48 PM

As a Pats fan, I am not confident.

Although it is a bit silly it kind of works and I think you have to have Divisional winners as the seeds otherwise you might as well just scrap the divisions all together.

Black Monday in full swing now.

Sad to see Frazier go from the Vikings, seems like a top bloke. Possibly not the right man to be a Head Coach.

Not necessarily. Winning a division gets you a play off place. Seeding should be done on how good your record is, that's what seeding means!

Bears v Packers game was fantastic. Gotta keep Aaron Rogers fit though. His being back made such a difference. Felt a bit sorry for the Bears.(No, really!) They've had a solid season with a new coach and I think they will win NFC North next year. Cutler is class and a bit underrated as a top QB by some. I think he will get better.
Wrap up warm now Niners!
