It's not so much quantity as quality with Steve Smith these days. Even when he's not being used, he's like a cobra waiting to strike and a constant threat (and distraction) to opposition defences.

He's turned numerous games this season - most recently the game against the Saints with an amazing catch between 2 defenders that set up the winning field goal. He made an almost identical catch earlier in the season for a touchdown though I forget which game.

I'm sure a great deal of the success enjoyed by Williams and Stewart is thanks to the cunning 'playmaker' :)

I always thought Grim was a Rat? Or to give them their new name.

The Bretts.

My cousins son has taken a big interest in NFL this season. Sadly he has opted for the Giants.

He is great player though! ;) Even if he did punch Ken Lucas! :moo:

Best Panthers catch this season was that Dante Rosario one in week 1 in San Diego! That came at him like a bullet, above head height and between two defenders! I'm amazed he managed to cling on!

News on NFL Network in the UK.

First, there is a chance that we will have it in the first few months. It was tested late last year to check if the coverage works and all that jazz.

Second, Something has to be bashed out to allow it to be shown over here as OFCOM are banning the adverts that are shown within the shows. Its allowed over there but not here due to some sort of legislation.

And finally, the chances in the NFL Network removing their advertisements is 0.01%.

Therefore, there is no chance of us getting it without OFCOM themselves in the next few months.

He is not your child. Therefore, you are allowed to beat him to within an inch of his death.

A great finish to a great game, and indeed a harbinger for the excellent season that was to come. Other than the Saints game, Smith did the same thing at home too, against the Cardinals maybe?

Charlotte is really buzzing at the moment in anticipation for Saturday's game, although it's obviously nothing compared to a Brighton Palace FA Cup game.

He's both. He sees no conflict in this, a bit like Terry Christian liking both Manchester City and United.

pauldrulez 07-01-2009 08:26 PM

Or supporting Arsenal and Tottenham.

England and Germany. ;)

At least the Jets and Giants are in different Conferences. But if they played in the SB, it would be weird.

Am I allowed to support the Patriots and Eagles? ;)

Yes, because you are a child. When you grow up, you will learn such practices are unacceptable.

pauldrulez 07-01-2009 08:35 PM

Get in there.

I'd add the Cowboys in there, but i'd feel dirty

EFA. ;)

Seriously, nice work Paul. :p

pauldrulez 07-01-2009 10:33 PM

Thats fine, just providing my 1 in a 1000 useful post :)

If I don't get a ticket, a hole will be blown in Wembley that even the Bucs couldn't top with their pirate ship.

:) ;)

Pacman Jones out in Dallas. Could be a preemptive strike. Rumors swirling around that he is behind a 2007 shooting... nothing confirmed yet though..

AddiscombeEagle 08-01-2009 09:01 AM

Thanks for that info on the tickets Paul.

Think I will go for the 45 tickets this year.

jazman 08-01-2009 12:18 PM

Had a discussion about the Harbaugh brothers last night before I left work with my Cardinals supporting colleague. And bizarrely enough, they were both mentioned on NFL Total Access last night, John being a coach at the Ravens and Jim is coach of Stanmore Cardinals college team ...

My learning continues ... :p

pauldrulez 08-01-2009 03:46 PM

Bye Pacman.

Good Riddance to shit.

Good on the Cowboys for showing some balls.

But with the reputation they have, what are the odds on the Bungals picking him up.

One other thing, with the amount of chances Pacman has had from Goodell and the NFL, what are the odds that Vick comes back next year?
