Great route by Edwards ... :p

Did anyone see that happening? 80 yard touchdown

Think that only covers the big finish, the last minute of the show (no clips). Sometimes funny, might get one of Wilbons's famous "..... no" remarks, but besides that not really worth bothering with.

Was thinking about the three things I think sets a team up to win a SB, and who has the advantage.

Coach - New Orleans
QB - Indy
Kicker - Minnesota

So given my current form you might as well lump your mortgages on the Jets. :D

I like Feely as being up there with Longwell in terms of Kickers.

Come on Indy. You are the Comeback Kings so far in the 09/10 season.

Ball on the opponent's 35, tie game, 3 seconds left. Which of the two would you prefer? Don't think Feely has the leg for that kick.

Can I change my mind :o

Yeah, I go Longwell from 50+.

But in any weather from under 48, I go for Feely. Always seems more consistent. But then again, I don't really keep an eye on Vikings Kicking stats. And, they are a Dome team.

Just figured out from the legendary clips thread that Al Michaels also did the commentary on the Hagler-Hearns fight. Is there anything decent sporting event he hasn't commentated on?

pauldrulez 24-01-2010 09:07 PM

Erm, damn.

They gave Brad Smith way too much time and space.

Strathclyde Eagle 24-01-2010 09:10 PM

He was a QB at Mizzou wasn't he? Not like having a RB back there or something.

The Jets are unquestionably doing what they have to at the moment. Suspect Indy's run D can't hold up this way all game either.

pauldrulez 24-01-2010 09:11 PM

Christ.

pauldrulez 24-01-2010 09:12 PM

Ah, those Jets fans in the lettered jumpers remind me of this:

Bloody Hell...

Strathclyde Eagle 24-01-2010 09:16 PM

Ok Mr Caldwell, let's see just how well you can coach.

Just in case anyone didn't read Bill Simmons' column on Friday:
Quote:

Possibly Relevant E-mail (from John D. in Evansville, Ind.): "As I write this, the Jets are leading 14-7 late in the third quarter and are 'matriculating the ball down the field' into Bengals territory. The fact that you picked against them honestly amazes me, because you forgot about karma. The Jets are destined to surprise everyone (except a few of us who remembered karma) by beating the two teams that laid down to allow them into the playoffs. They will beat the Bengals, and they will beat the Colts. Not because they are the better team, but simply because karma is a bitch."
At least this gives us a chance to watch Mark Sanchez potentially turn into Tony Eason in the Super Bowl. That would be fun.

Inter 2-0 up ;)
