Wearing my new Eagles Samuel home jersey! I ordered it before Christmas, to be delivered to a mate's house in Cali, only it didn't arrive in time and now I'm visiting him in LA for the weekend. I also got my winter sideline hat. Just in time to catch the back end of the bad weather at home. Got a medium so it's a better fit than my black alternate Westbrook jersey in large.

Now I will wait to see the drafts and trades before completing the set with a white jersey. I'm thinking Akers at the moment.

Cutler needs to get a decent Offensive Line, but he also needs to learn how to play in the redzone properly.

Cutler had thrown 7 RedZone INTs by Week 10 of last season.

Tom Brady had thrown 6 through his whole career.

Cutler has to look after the ball.

He needs an O-Line next year, but the Bears have few draft picks thanks to the robbery of them for Cutler.

Broncos and McDaniels done a good job, but they fell apart when the combination of Running Backs and WRs started getting hurt. Buckhalter and Moreno were banged up quite often. Royal was hurt, Marshall is a douchebag and Gaffney can't be a #1 WR.

I think they'll be much improved again next year.

200 days until the Regular Season begins at the Superdome.

60 days until the first round of the Draft (what a moronic idea to put round 1 on a Thursday Night)

pauldrulez 21-02-2010 01:44 PM

Oh, and first Sunday for about 23 weeks that i've woke up with nothing to look forward to. Feels empty.

Any of you guys get the train from Selhurst towards Epsom yesterday after the game wearing your phillie eagles cap??

That would probably be my good self. Not proving to be a lucky hat that's for sure!

I felt the very same today. But I think it is a mixture of no NFL, Palace losing yesterday and me being off work for a week and returning to the office tomorrow ... :sob:

Breaking News: The Chargers have just released LT

pauldrulez 22-02-2010 09:52 PM

Watch one stupid team come in for him with way too much money.

He's done. Maybe give him 8 carries a game and see what he does as part of a committee. Could be a decent foil for CJ2K. Or an experienced head opposite Charles in KC.

If he's smart he accepts a low-paying mentor role on a team which can get him a ring.

Kinda sad, in his prime he was awesome to watch, regardless of your allegiance.

It's been on the cards for a few weeks now ... was mentioned a couple of weeks before the SB

Agree with Strathers as usual ... :) ...

I have a soft spot for the Bears as my son decided that they are 'his' team ... ;)

Was one of the reasons I went to Saints-Chargers. Late decision. Just to see the future HoFer before he retired.

I think he had a decent game as well that day.

You might want to take a look at US viewing figures and then question why it is moronic. Thursday night primetime slot will get a lot more viewers than the usual early afternoon Saturday slot when most men are being dragged around the supermarket by some woman they had the misfortune to marry... :D

Once a Choker, always a Choker. I'm sure Paul will agree given his amazing and completely worthless bile on Manning after the SB. :)
