One other thing, my brother is going to San Fransisco for five days on Saturday, I want some NFL merchandise, is it possible do you think for me to order some stuff off NFL shop and get it delivered to my brothers hotel? Has anyone done this before?

Yep, just ring the hotel ahead and warn them so they know to accept the package. You might even be able to get the room number so that he'll get the package straight away. We have done that plenty of times recently.

I ordered some football kit to my parents hotel. They bought it back in their suitcase.

I'd just confirm with the company, and the hotel that it'll be okay. 9/10 they'll be fine with it!

I wish we had the NFL season to look forward to.

Life's all too depressing at the minute.

pauldrulez 28-05-2010 07:18 PM

Oh,

Cant believe I nearly forgot.

RIP Marquise Hill. 3 years on, a sad day for Pats fans and all fans of the NFL.

25, no age to die.

Thoughts with Jarvis Green who adopted Marquise's son and helps the family out as much as he can.

Jason La Canfora just tweeted me support in favour of Palace.

Leg-end.

y2rich 31-05-2010 11:31 PM

Gotta love La Canfora.

Anyway, my sleeper team for the NFC is the Redskins. Not a shocking pick I know but after last season they can't do a lot worse.

Texans to surprise in the AFC.

Green Bay to win it all (argh thats painful to say as a Viking)

I think people have said that about them since they were created, and they've still done nothing.

y2rich 01-06-2010 09:30 AM

Yeah I know but I see them sneaking into a wild card this year

pauldrulez 02-06-2010 04:06 PM

In the best news and the most amazing since we were saved yesterday.

Wes Welker is on the field in pads and shorts with a knee brace.

The guy is ridiculous

ardeo 02-06-2010 05:30 PM

Is he actually going to be fit for the season at this rate?

He's a machine!!!

Swanny32 02-06-2010 05:34 PM

A machine or a liar........

pauldrulez 02-06-2010 07:02 PM

A liar?

He had ACL surgery as well as surgery on a torn rotator cuff. That's been acknowledged by team, Wes, Brady, Moss, other teammates and the doctor in question.

He is superhuman. He can't be fully healthy, but he was out there running routes today.

And apparently the real Randy is back with his usual practice self.

Caught everything thrown at him.

Including a throw over his head from Hoyer and he jumped and caught it out of the air with one hand and fell over Leigh Bodden's head and held onto the ball.

But then again, i've said it before.

I think he's the most talented receiver in recent history. I think he's as good as Rice and Carter. It's his attitude and application of his skills that brings him down.

Wonder how Tom Brady will do after his long lay off cant stand the smug looking git but i am sure hill will blind the oppisition with the sun that shines out of his arse.

Swanny32 02-06-2010 07:11 PM

When I say liar, I don't mean that the injury ever occurred, there is no question it did, but I mean that even though he has a brace on his knee and is telling people he is good to practise and maybe even make the season, he's maybe not telling the whole truth and is fighting through a considerable amount of pain but doing well to cover it up.

Shit your right.NFL season not long enough to big a gap between the end of the season and the start of the new season easy to get confused when your attention has been elsewhere for so long.

Swanny32 02-06-2010 08:14 PM

I tend to agree with you there, needs to be longer. But then you look at what the players put themselves through all season then you understand why it's so short.
