Some local radio broadcasters are trying to broadcast the conference call live so it's been delayed. Guess I'm not getting an early night tonight!

SteveyHawking 21-09-2010 11:50 PM

Press conference on now...

zonin2000 21-09-2010 11:53 PM

Not injury related.

Swanny32 22-09-2010 12:00 AM

You gotta feel sorry for Kevin

SteveyHawking 22-09-2010 12:08 AM

Vick has just done too much in the last game and a half to get dropped and offers the best chance of winning at the moment.

ardeo 22-09-2010 08:12 AM

Based on how much are offensive line sucks at the moment, Vick is the best option for us to win games this season. I still believe that he's not good enough to take us to a superbowl, where as Kolb has the potential to be, but definitely not this year.

Anyways, good for me fantasy football wise :)

Absolutely. I have no doubt that his time will come though.

zonin2000 22-09-2010 09:38 AM

Another argument: with the threat of no football in 2011, what's the point in sacrificing a mediocre 2010 season?

Again I don't buy that though.

zonin2000 22-09-2010 09:56 AM

Telling?

DeSean Jackson reacts to the news that Michael Vick is the Philadelphia Eagles starting QB.

Dolphins are for real, particularly with Mike Nolan overseeing a young, hungry D.

Ben, we always lose to Tennessee, even when we're good and they're not. It's nearly as bad as our record against the Texans.

In terms of divisional strength I'd take the AFC South over the AFC East, but only because the Bills are so terrible, whereas any of the 4 in the AFC South can give anyone a game.

Agree, although both were excellent. Getting the feet down as well adds more to Hester's catch. Prefer Hester's by a slither. :p

To those of you who haven't made the trek to the States for a game yet, you gotta do it. As testified by Swanny's above post. No live event over here is anything like it.

Not far off 20 years since I've done it now. :sob: Think if I was doing it again I'd want to double-up and take in a college game the day before too.

Interesting point that I don't think has been mentioned: Niners and Cowboys off to disappointing starts but still only one game back in each of their divisions.

pauldrulez 22-09-2010 11:00 AM

I'm still trying to convince myself to go to Foxboro for the Jets game in December and take in a BC game while i'm there.

Would be by myself but that's no real problem.

The problem is, I cannot drive in the States. Which means I have to cab it everywhere and gameday is a nightmare outside Gillette.

Benzhiyi 22-09-2010 11:52 AM

Nookie and I always cab it in the States, and Dolphin stadium is much harder to get to from central Miami than Gillette is from Boston. (I looked into going to a pre-season New England game when Liz and I were there in 2006).

See: easy, and crazy cheap.

Was easy getting away from the Eagles @ Redskins game last October by public transport. But then again, most of the Redskins fans had left by half time.

Reasonable prices for sleeper compartments as well...

Yeah, Washington's easy to get to on the Metro.

Nookie and I will be at that fixture this year. No way we'll be leaving at half time. :D

At the moment Kolb is a bloody expensive backup QB!

But Fat Andy also said #5 was our QB before trading him to the Deadskins ;)

Good news is that the Tailgate party at Wembley this year is open to all game ticket holders so no need to apply to go .. apparantly they have a new venue for it allowing more people access ... :p

I'm out.

Been super naff in recent years.

ardeo 22-09-2010 01:19 PM

Planning on just popping in this year.

Was good to see the NFL memorabilia, including all the superbowl rings, as well as NFL in 3D last year, but have got my Eagles gear now and would rather drink something other than Coors light beforehand.
