Very true.

Some big numbers in the Dallas game. Having got back level we go and naff it all up with a stoopid penalty. I admit they had a lot to do from there but even so, it riles me that penalty in the end zone. They want to learn to effing grow up and think for a change. 1 and 3 is a bloody awful start and one in which I cannot see us making the post season taking into account our schedule. I will just enjoy the season now for what it is.

I won't mention the fantasy league ;) :sob:

Normally, that would be a damning indictment of the Raiders, but this time, it was a very entertaining match.

The Commish was there too :)

I knew I wouldn't last the break so have zapped the highlights programme that is on during the day today. Watched the first quarter of the Philly game this morning before leaving for work.

This year is pretty open if you ask me ... no outstanding team out there right now.

Yeah after 5 games, nobody undefeated and only 3 teams, Bears, Ravens & Falcons 4-1 although a few still have to play their 5th game

Bills, Panthers and 49ers all with a 0-5 start to the season

It's a fight for the number one draft pick ;)

Except the Panthers would trade down cos it would cost too much :(

Well, my team in the FL really sucked dick this week and to compound it my picks didn't save properly for some reason so I got zero.

<sarcasm>Awesome</sarcasm>

David Carr is turrible. Things must be bad.

Yep, Smith had a stinker at the beginning of the 4th quarter and "We want Carr" chants were all over the place. To be fair to Smith he rallied after his bust up with Singletary on the sidelines but thankfully threw a nice pick at the end to provide the Eagles with a much needed win.

As much as mine? I don't think so ..... :hi:

saxoneagle 11-10-2010 04:04 PM

Swanny - you still interested in trading some of those playrs you have on your trade block? I'm willing to offer you an upgrade at WR if you can offer me an upgrade at RB :p

I normally last for the 2 games and then try and sleep and fail and watch the 1st quarter of the night match.

No outstanding team, but the Ravens have put themselves forward now Ray Rice is running the ball. They face the Patriots next Sunday in a revenge match.

Unfortunately, i'll have to declare the Jets as outstanding if they beat the Vikings tonight.

Only other team close to outstanding? I'll probably say the Bears. They beat an awful Carolina without their QB. That D is starting to step-up, and like the Ravens, they've got their Running game going with Forte yesterday.

A lot of the other teams have got one half of their team flying, but the other doing terrible. Case a) The Chiefs. That D is fearsome. Their O has the potential, but Cassel needs to step up and he needs more than Moeaki to be able to catch in the passing game.

b) Falcons. Give the Chiefs Matt Ryan, Roddy White and Sam Baker and you have the Superbowl winner. Give the Falcons the Chiefs D and you have the Superbowl winner.

pauldrulez 11-10-2010 06:26 PM

Watching SNF now.

Alex Smith's first INT.

That was not his fault. Single Coverage. If Ginn isn't going to get it, he does not let that pass get Intercepted. He should have turned into a DB or knocked the player on his ass before he got there. Yes, throwing to Davis may have been better, but when the ball was thrown, Davis was not open.

First Half done. There is nothing i've seen that has made him look as bad as the media are saying.

I've seen Chris say above that he had a much improved 4th quarter.

One bad quarter does not make you a terrible Quarterback.

Poor form from the media.

We're capable of beating anyone on our day. I reckon we'll finish at 9-7 which could be enough.
