Is it me or is Sanchez really not all that?

Strathclyde Eagle 25-09-2011 11:20 PM

He's not all that. Just a good hype machine around him, first at USC (where the team under his leadership didn't meet expectations) and now in New York.

Maybe he should of stayed at USC for another season just like Pete Carroll told him to!

Just saw that Cromartie returned a kick off 29 yards to give the Jets a first down at their own 20. Surely better to just get the touchback, no?

Roddy White is another elite WR who is having a monster game. Throw him in with the two Johnson's, Mike Wallace and Fitzgerald for the top five receivers in the game.

(As I write White drops an easy one :D)

Awesome fake from the Bears on the punt, shame about the ridic hold for no reason!!

Andy Newton 26-09-2011 12:31 AM

4th and one, game still on the line after the falcons have been mauled for the second week running...and you jump offside...ohh dear.

RDSdaEAGLE 26-09-2011 12:32 AM

Tampa Bay did a great job on the Falcons, playing them offside on a 4th down. The Atlanta coach was livid :D

I'm not a lip reading specialist, but I believe Van Gorder said "Oh, my f*****g God, you f*****g idiots!"

Haha, yep! It was predictably poor from Atlanta.

Matt Hasselbeck is proving to be quite a good choice as a back-up QB, especially with Peyton Manning looking like he's nowhere near ready to return.

and it was so so obvious that they were not going to run a play

Manning won't play this season, there is no point. Could be perfect timing with this being the Luck Lottery season.

I do enjoy it when Polamalu anticipates the snap count and blitzes

LLCOOLSTEVE 26-09-2011 03:46 AM

Robbie Savage lookalike in for Colts now as Collins is on the sidelines injured

oz_da II 26-09-2011 04:00 AM

Robbie Savage would probably do a better job...

LLCOOLSTEVE 26-09-2011 04:15 AM

you were saying?! That was a good drive....

oz_da II 26-09-2011 05:04 AM

If he hits a wide open Garçon with his first throw they probably would have won.

Strathclyde Eagle 26-09-2011 05:12 AM

If the Steelers had lost that game I think Ben Longsurname would have been in all kinds of trouble with his teammates. The game was looking comfortable before he turned the ball over on three straight possessions leading to 13 Indianapolis points.

Just got this from the Spam queue, some guy trying to start a thread called "Nicaragua" (which makes you think of Beavis & Butthead, if you're my age).

It seemed like everybody had cars. In the 1980s, the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) was a source of pride for many Nicaraguans. With Kevin Kolb being touted as the next Aaron Rodgers, Maclin will be able to showcase why the Eagles drafted him in the first round last year.
