Meh, I thought it was funny. Shows how pathetic our Security is.

Gave him a standing ovation, hopefully Swanny and the lads did the same as it was right by us.

Yes we did. Livened up what was a bit of a drab game at the time.

It was my youngests favourite part of the whole night, keeps talking about it today :D

Really enjoyed my first experience of NFL at Wembley. Kids were happy they had bears cheek makeup so were made up when they won.

Hoping the international series will still be around when my boys are old enough to go.

They do show the games they showed live in highlight form during the following day, i.e. today. But not highlights like MOTD for football. Best for that is NFL.com for NFL Gamday which is a great highlights programme, but I watch the Live SportsCenter on Monday mornings on ESPN. It's on for an hour and covers highlights of all the games.

From the live coverage of the game, the Commisioner was in the commentary box for a while and was talking about the future. And they were talking more about not so much if there will be games in the future but way past that, more games and even the option of a franchise.

And more interestingly, the reason the Bucs were the home team again was because of the lock out, they wanted a team that had done it before as a home team as it would have been a logistical nightmare arranging a different franchise coming over in the short timescale they had once the lock out ended.

Its the sort of thing that will piss of NFL officials

It wasnt funny, wish a player had headbutted him, if he had hit someone or something then we might not have seen another game over here

Yeah, I mean, that never happens in the States.

Superbowl 38, where a guy dressed as an Official came on after the half before streaking.

LLCOOLSTEVE 24-10-2011 09:40 PM

Oh im sure it does, normally by drunk mindless idiots

Guess im past the age where i find it funny

pauldrulez 24-10-2011 09:50 PM

Can't be arsed to argue about it really.

Rob Gronkowski told the media he'd be staying put in Boston and working out on his bye week....

Here he is with a porn star back in Arizona.

Hero amongst great players.

Did you manage to keep them interested? My eldest is 3, not sure what age I could cope with at a sporting event be it Palace or NFL.

8 year old was interested all the way through, 6 year old got bored around half time but luckily my wife was on had to help keep him amused.

They've both been going to Palace on and off since they were about three but its not been much of a success. My 11 year old has had a season ticket now for four years and loves every minute of it. He's Palace mad whereas the other two are just Mad (Man Utd and Chelski are the order of the day for them unfortunately) I'm hoping they'll grow out of it as they liked going to Hull away last year so its just a case of biding your time.

If they haven't grown out of it by the time they are 18 I'll probably just chuck them out on the street ;)

Ridcully 24-10-2011 11:55 PM

I will say though, its a lot easier to keep them amused at a NFL game than a Football game though. Nicer atmosphere and they loved 'making some noise'.

Top article.

Sparano and Ireland need to go asap, but Ross has a LOT of explaining to do. He has made some bizarre decisions over the last 2 years and I really question where his priorities lie.

Miami football is rotten to the core right now. Joe Robbie is turning in his grave

saxoneagle 25-10-2011 12:42 AM

I think the Fins only lost because of a dubious error by the officials. Ben will confirm. :p

I was 4 when I first went to Palace. If they like football, they'll like watching it. And the atmosphere
