Rams totally outclassed today but a great day been at the tailgate party since 11 and found good number of palace fans

Just traded away Romo in league 2, good timing!

On D I'd keep, Cole, Babin, Cox, Kendricks and Coleman, I know he's not the best safety in the world but every time he steps on that field he gives 100%. Asomugha can sling his hook, over paid, over rated, DRC might hang on to his roster spot....just.

I might change my mind once I have de-stressed from the game, but tonight was far from good enough, I know the Falcons are now 7-0 and the only unbeaten team in the league but we should have played much much better.

Agree with most of your keepers but DRC has been garbage for the last few games and just gives away penalties like they are going out of fashion. Coleman shouldn't be a starting safety in this league either as he doesn't know how to tackle. Boykin and Ryans deserve another shot IMHO. I will say the front four on defense should be doing much better than it is but it doesn't help with our lack of blitzing and conservative playcalling.

Celek ain't bad on the other side of the ball, Jason Avant is a reliable player on third downs in the slot and Havili has looked decent at fullback. Once again it's about the line and we certainly miss Jason Kelce who's pretty nifty at center but Herremans and Mathis have gone backwards which hasn't helped one bit.

Regardless of the players on either side of the ball the main thing that needs to change is the coaching staff. Reid and his entire staff should go at the end of the season and next year can begin the rebuilding process.

Forgot about Ryans, yes, would like to see what he can do under a good coaching staff. Boykins looks dangerous on returns but hasn't really done anything, would like to see him used a bit more on offence.

Avant is solid, agreed, would probably keep him but think we need a tall receiver in place of DeSean, someone who can win a jump ball. Tom and I have discussed it on many occasions, if we aren't going to use Avant in that fashion then we need to get someone in.

Disagree on Coleman, I like his enthusiasm, drive and passion for playing the game, like I said, he's not great but he's been a game changer for us on a fair few occasions which is more than can be said for any safety we have had since B-Dawk.

Romo and Fitz for Brady. Onwards and upwards for Ardeo's Swanlets. Our roster is better than our record suggests, receivers were letting us down massively as was QB so we needed to do something as we approach the final third of the regular season. If I'm honest, I'm surprised Peagle accepted the trade, considering Fitz's QB problems and the fact that Romo is just pure garbage, also as he's a Pats fan I'm shocked he got rid of Brady. It could still massively back fire on us but looks like a solid trade for us this week, at least.

Swanny .... I don't think I woul keep Babin .... A one trick pony ..... Who has forgotten how to do that trick ... IE Sack the QB ... Would rather see Vinny play!!

Nah, Babin is a beast, we're not blitzing enough which is how you get sacks, sending a 4 man rush isn't going to get us anywhere and is the main reason we don't get to the QB enough.

Swanny32 28-10-2012 09:49 PM

Trent has been non existent this season as well....says everything really.

ardeo 28-10-2012 10:13 PM

Much as I love Trent, if it were possible i'd get rid of our supposed starting line of: Babin-Jenkins-Landri-Cole, leaving us with: Vinny/Hunt-Patterson/Thornton-Cox-Graham/Tapp. Think that is plenty good enough and would free up so much cap room to actually get some decent safeties that over-play the run and then can't make a tackle anyway.

Offensively i'd happily shop D-Jax and get a tall WR, which i've always wanted, to complement Maclin, Avant and Celek.

Watching the game today, I actually think a lot of players aren't playing that hard anymore. When Vick rolls out the receivers don't really help him and when we our on D players didn't seem too interested in putting any big hits or winning the one on one battles. On the first drive we blitzed 6, which was perfectly picked up by the Falcons who left 6 to block and Ryan had time to find the open man. I can't believe that not one of those 6 "stars" could at least get half way round a one on one block.

Anyway, that's all a bit of an aside to the real problem of Andy Reid and Michael Vick, neither of whom are doing a good job for the last two years, and I think the rest of the players are well aware of that fact.

Eagles country, so I shall continue my non-existence on this thread.

45-7. Up yours mother****ers. Great atmosphere in the UKPatriots section.

Enjoyed my first Wembley game today, just a shame the rams were pretty poor (apart from their first drive) it seemed that whenever they had a big play they would follow it up with either a penalty or just a really bad play. After both teams scored on their first drive I thought it would be a good, tight game but then the rams fell apart :D they wont be a factor in the NFC west. Cant wait till next year when the niners come.

I also saw a lot of palace fans there which surprised me a bit, but not as much as I surprised someone by shouting eagles at them :o

Wow.

Forget the rest, that was effing unlucky in the end. We are killing ourselves in games right now, the opposition don't need to do much!

OscillateWildly 29-10-2012 11:41 AM

Another fun day at Wembley yesterday. Shame that the Pats dominated, I had such hope after the Ram's first drive but penalties killed 'em.

Just wait until we play one other - it'll be chock full of cock ups with both teams attempting to outdo each other in ways to lose a game. :D

davematt 29-10-2012 01:09 PM

The Giants got away with it yesterday.

They played shocking to be fair, and only got so far ahead due to poor turnovers from the Cowboys.

Shame the Wembley came was such a blowout, but when the Pats get their passing and running game flowing, they are pretty unstoppable.

This is such an open season; the Bears seem to be going about their job nicely, and the Falcons continue to play lights out.

ChaceTheAce 29-10-2012 03:54 PM

Really enjoyed Wembley yesterday. Rams were served :( Awesome opening TD though.

pauldrulez 29-10-2012 04:02 PM

Greatest show on turf? Pfft, **** you Marshall Faulk.
