I'll be surprised if Tebow gets past mini-camp.

The only reason I'd like to see him make the squad is to see the look on Brady's face when it is 3rd and goal from the three and Bill pulls him and brings on Tebow. There won't be enough Gatorade coolers on the sidelines for Tom to kick over. :lux:

:bash: Tim Tebow pmsl oh Patriots what have you done.
So happy he is still in the AFC east can't wait for
The Dolphins to play against him again.

Most of the media for most of the season will not be able to go through a report without the inclusion of one reference to 'Tebow'

And there is only one more TE to be revealed. That means either Gronk or Jimmy Graham is off the list. On top of that, Richard Sherman proved what a world class idiot he is by saying Roddy White didn't deserve to be in the Top 100 players.

Eh? Surely Gronk and Graham should both be in the top 20, never mind just being on the list. Ridiculous one is not going to be there.

Two AFC title wins since 2000? Yeh, we're bricking it, with or without Tebow.

They've invited him to mini-camp...

Tebow news quality, made me laugh. Vonta Leach leaving the Ravens not so great.

Looks like Matt Ryan is using this interview as therapy.

So, the Falcons are going to go with the Pantheon design for the new stadium:

i have my doubts about how reliable the multi part sliding petal roof is likely to be but other than that i think it rocks.

From 2002 to 2011 there were 29 instances in which a team posted a record of 7-9 or worse one season and came back the following year to record ten or more wins. And in 26 of those 29 instances (89.6%), the teams in question reverted from a 10-6 or better franchise to a 9-7 or worse franchise in year three.

Indianapolis Colts
2011 record: 2-14
2012 record: 11-5
2013 LVH season win total: 8.5 (Over: even, Under: -120)

Minnesota Vikings
2011 record: 3-13
2012 record: 10-6
2013 LVH season win total: 7.5 (Over: -110, Under: -110)

Seattle Seahawks
2011 record: 7-9
2012 record: 11-5
2013 LVH season win total: 10.5 (Over: -110, Under: -110)

Washington Redskins
2011 record: 5-11
2012 record: 10-6
2013 LVH season win total: 8 (Over: -110, Under: -110)
Calling my bookie. I can see Indy, Washington and Minnesota all hovering around 8-8. Seattle should have no problems getting to double digits, but you never know.

Since Jerry Jones put the patent on the giant scoreboard, I like the idea of something different with the ringed scoreboard. I wonder though, if the Atlanta skyline will be visible thru that hole when the stadium is all lit up.

Things are slowly going from bad to worse for Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez. On Wednesday, Boston media reported Hernandez hasn't been ruled out as a suspect in a homicide case where a dead body was found less than a mile from his home.

Now Hernandez will reportedly be facing a lawsuit stemming from a February incident where he allegedly shot a man in the face, according to TMZ. Sports Illustrated has also confirmed the existence of the lawsuit.

According to TMZ, the man filing the lawsuit, Alexander Bradley, claims he went to a club in Miami with Hernandez on Feb. 13 and at some point, an argument broke out between the two men.

Hernandez and Bradley left the club in the same car, where the argument continued. At some point during the car ride, Hernandez allegedly aimed a gun at Bradley and the gun discharged, hitting Bradley in the face, according to the report.

Bradley claims to have suffered several injuries, including the loss of his right eye. The lawsuit also claims Bradley has had to undergo major reconstructive surgery to his face. Bradley is seeking more than $100,000 in damages.

There's possibly more bad news for Hernandez too: Bradley says Hernandez is not licensed to carry a firearm.
Yes. I know you shot me in the face, but give me $100k and I'll overlook it. Oh and that last part is great. Reminds me of the Big Lebowski:

The Dude: What are you, a ******* park ranger now?

Walter Sobchak: No, I'm...

The Dude: Who gives a shit about the ******* marmot!

******* idiot.

He was probably my favourite offensive player. What a total wanker. (If guilty etc)

Luckily we have 103 other Tight ends.

Maybe that's why we signed Tebow?

I find it hard to believe that shooting a man in the face is a civil case and not a criminal case. We'll see.

Funk Butter 20-06-2013 04:02 PM

Papers in Boston are now saying that Hernandez will be arrested. No word on the charge. Whether this is a Rae Carruth or Ray Lewis left to be seen.
