Sounds good but can we keep a record of what people say? Would love a bit of accountability come February!

Agree about the Rams.

Reckon the Chargers will be awful again this season (probably worse).

Palmer can throw better than the turds that were there last year, and I like their defense and that they might even risk Peterson at WR. As he ran the wildcat well against us last season.

The Rams will be there or thereabouts this year.

Watching Hard Knocks makes me realise how much of a dick James Harrison is....moron.

pauldrulez 17-08-2013 01:46 AM

Can't sleep so watching pre-season.

Said that I preferred Amendola if he stayed healthy.

Tommy Kelly could be an inspired signing. He looks badass alongside Vince

Anyone seen the Colts/Giants game last night, Reggie Wayne made two stupidly good plays. A one handed catch and a touchdown catch which popped up off the CB which he then juggled and caught. Awesome.

If you thought Spygate was a scandal for Belichick, nothing compared to this. He has spies everywhere.

Bar the comment about Rugby games taking place at Wembley (which bar Rugby League's Challenge Cup final, don't exist as far as I'm aware) this was a pretty fair article I thought.

saxoneagle 30-08-2013 07:32 PM

No-one I know would change allegiance to "support" London over their US team. I'm not sure I'd go to 8 games a year, either.

He makes some good points, pretty spot on.

Saracens go and play the odd league game there (copying what Quins do going and playing a game at Twickenham over the xmas period). They also occasionally move big European games there to get a bigger attendance. Not sure whether that is still the plan now they have their new stadium.

I would probably go and watch the games but I'm not sure. I doubt the atmosphere at the games would be great - its just so different to how we behave here and we have no traditions.

To be honest I would go and watch a London team, and over time would probably choose them over the Eagles. Especially as Eagles tickets are so expensive to get, even when we are shit.
