2-14... Man that sucks. He was the D Coach in San Diego so what can you expect really? But it's true... We have the best Running QB in the NFL and one of if not the best set of running backs... Fourth and one take a bloody chance on it!!!

Gio Bernard & Tyler Eifert are looking pretty good value already, especially when they're only 2nd choice in their positions.

Just caught up with this weekend's games (more or less).

My thoughts:

Eagles game went how I was and am expecting many to go like, good offence, rubbish defence. We'll only win games we get way out in front of as our D just won't stop anyone.

Seahawks are going 8-0 at home again, and if Harvin returns for second half of the season and the playoffs they are a real danger with their defence, Lynch and Wilson.

49ers desperately need Crabtree back.

Bengals are going to be good with Eifert and Bernard and their D, and AJ.

Steelers are going to lose a lot of games.

Chiefs are a contender for the playoffs.

Titans, Dolphins and Bills have all surprised me in a good way.

The NFC LEast could well be won at 8-8.

If anyone wants to read my brief thoughts on turnovers (written after week 1) then its on Jay's blogsite: http://ukcowboys.wordpress.com/

So everyone survived the survival picks (except those that didn't pick)

Watching Geno Atkins trying to swim on Hard Knocks :D

Hard Knocks was brilliant for little things like that this year.

Seattle vs Jacksonville... The biggest spread I've seen since the 2007 Patriots mid-season games.

20 point spread yesterday, that's ridiculous.

If the world ended and the Jags won this game, there would be no greater Suicide Pool Armageddon ever.

After crunching the numbers, Yahoo! thinks the following team will win easily this week:

Seattle Seahawks
Thank God for Yahoo.

Thank God for Yahoo.

Deliberately didnt pick Seattle because if somehow they did lose (any given Sunday) I'd basically have won the whole thing. Just got to find another decent bet!

The Browns trading Trent Richardson to the Colts for a first rounder next year is somewhat surprising!

Even if the Browns could have two Top 10 picks next year, they'll probably screw it up.

Go the Bills

oz_da II 19-09-2013 02:25 AM

I like the Richardson trade for both teams.

Colts get someone they need right now while the Browns get a player via the draft that they need later.

The Browns aren't winning anything in a hurry and they're basically just grinding Richardson into the ground for nothing (he's taken every hand-off this season). In addition to that he is a bit injury prone so could go down anytime and would be worth next to nothing.

Browns 2014 draft:

2 x 1st round
1 x 2nd round
2 x 3rd round
2 x 4th round

Surely a QB there somewhere...

Stinky stuff in Washington:

Quote:

The Redskins are 0-2 in FG attempts

Sav Rocca is the lowest ranking punter in the NFL through two games in Avg. yards.

The return and coverage units are the most penalized units in the NFL (7 penalties). The team is on pace to break last year's embarrassing 21 ST penalties by Week 7.
Big Sav better get his act together, stop shanking it, or he'll be on a plane back to Melbourne in no time...

Just watched the game today.

What an f'wit. Green Bay sideline and crowd very generous in giving him a clap after the Starks hit.

I'll be sitting down to watch the Vikings take on the Browns on Sunday.. if they can't beat them now Richardson is gone they may as well give up as well!
