Beckenham Boy 19-09-2013 01:33 PM

Chargers have won the last 9 games against the Titans and have never lost at their new stadium.

Stick your money on Tennessee then :(

Beckenham Boy 19-09-2013 01:43 PM

Sounds like Browns are bringing in 32 year old free agent Willis McGahee to fill the void left by Richardson

Swanny32 19-09-2013 02:04 PM

I can't believe that trade from the Browns, stupid decision if you ask me.

AddiscombeEagle 19-09-2013 02:06 PM

I think its a good move by the Browns. They need to rebuild.

Didn't have the worst 2011/12 seasons, unlucky to be unemployed.

If this helps the Browns get Bridgewater and another decent player (maybe a pass-catching back), then it makes sense

But surely Richardson is good enough to build a team around him??

Absolution 19-09-2013 04:15 PM

Watched a couple of the Bridgewater games, he certainly is looking good (albeit against some average sides) but if your choices are potentially Jacksonville or Cleveland, you'd be tempted to stay in college for another year!

I don't think he'll get lucky like RG3 & Luck when they got decent franchises.

Have you seen him play? He looks like Michael Turner from last year. Ok, maybe not, since Michael Turner just ran into his lineman constantly. He gets to the line and hesitates like he is waiting for a hole to open and then hit it, instead of hitting the hole as it develops. I mean Montario Hardesty has more yards per carry than him. Maybe he's still hurt.

Cincinnati Bengals Division Finishing Position - 1st @ 3.25
Kansas City Chiefs To Make The Playoffs - Yes @ 4.75
Indianapolis Colts Regular Season Wins - Under 8.5 @ 1.95
New England Patriots To Make The Playoffs - No @ 10.0 (With everything going on there, how can I not take these odds)

This one looking good so far.

Get in the queue, Funk. :p

LLCOOLSTEVE 20-09-2013 02:28 PM

out of survival league :(

Chip Kelly has lost the same amount of home games in Philly as he did during his four years in Eugene.

That's also the first time Andy Reid has won in Philly since September 30th 2012. :D

Joking aside, eight home defeats on the bounce for the Eagles is disgraceful behaviour. :(

Just finished watching the game from last night.....piss poor. We're in serious trouble if this offence can't get in sync with each other.

D was better than last week but still giving up far too many plays, Avery had a field day with our secondary and burnt us over and over again as did Charles. Why they didn't learn the first time is beyond me, dropping 8 and sitting so deep opened up the centre of the field and allowed the Chiefs receivers to block our DB's stopping them from getting to the ball carrier.

Offence was just all over the place for us, Vick looked indecisive, almost to the point where he didn't know what he was supposed to be doing, made some terrible decisions and dare I say it, worse than last year?? The only bright spark to come from that cesspit of shite was that Shady didn't get badly hurt and or D-Line was able to get some good pressure on Smith at times.

I think it's fair to say we were overwhelmed by the moment last night and got distracted. Bronco's up next.....Hello 1-3.

Swanny32 20-09-2013 04:06 PM

I'm so angry right now....wish I hadn't bothered watching the fecking game. I need to play some GTA to vent some anger.

So long as they're buying into Kelly long-term, he's going to need a couple of drafts to really change things?

Vick is frustrating to watch sometimes, especially when you've got Smith as his opposite number who's had 10 interceptions in two years, or something ridiculous.

We need to rebuild and give Kelly plenty of time, definitely, but when you have players on your team like Vick, McCoy, Jackson, Cole, Peters and some of our recent draft selections Kendricks, Cox....you have to at least be looking at a half decent season regardless of the change of coaching staff. 8-8, with the way we have played in the last 2 weeks is looking a long way off. If we can get there, I'll be very happy. Not going to happen though.

The offence doesn't suit a slow moving pocket passing QB, it suits a nimble and quick QB but Vick is past it, we need to give Barkley a shot if the dross continues although having not seen a lot of him, I don't really know if he would suit this offence, I'd assume he does as Chip drafted him. You need to rebuild but you're sticking with the old QB who hasn't done anything mildly good for 2 seasons.

Swanny32 20-09-2013 05:22 PM

And if Ardeo comes on here and says "Try Foles"...I swear I'll scream....Foles is over rated and no good for the Kelly style of play.

Funk Butter 20-09-2013 07:16 PM

Try Barkley.
