SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith has been named in a lawsuit by a man who said he was shot during a party at Smith's house.

In the suit filed Tuesday in Santa Clara County Superior Court, Ronndale Esporlas says Smith and his former teammate Delanie Walker fired weapons illegally during the party at Smith's San Jose home in June 2012.

The lawsuit says Smith and Walker were intoxicated on Smith's balcony when they began firing gunshots in the air while trying to end the party.

Esporlas says he was shot twice in the crossfire between two groups after Walker allegedly fired more shots in the driveway.

Neither Walker nor Smith, who was stabbed at the party, has been charged in the incident. Walker now plays for the Tennessee Titans.

Smith's attorney declined to comment and a call to Titans spokesman Robbie Bohren was not immediately returned Wednesday.
So many questions to be asked and so much information missing.

This guy is starting to be more trouble than he's worth.

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith was arrested Friday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence in San Jose, police said.

Smith was arrested by officers who received a call about a solo vehicle crash around 7 a.m., San Jose police Sgt. Heather Randol said. Officers proceeded to take a breath sample and to conduct other tests.

"They conducted an investigation and determined he was under the influence," said Randol, who confirmed Smith was the driver of the vehicle.

"The 49ers organization is aware of the matter involving Aldon Smith. As we continue to gather information regarding this situation, we will have no further comment," the team said in a statement.

This one looking good so far.

I'd like to get a bet on the Panthers losing every game despite leading in the 4th quarter, but I suspect the odds are no longer worthwhile....

Just caught up with the Eagles game, amused to see I was the only person to pick the Chiefs to win.

I was shocked we beat the Skins, but they look pretty terrible, and we are more or less what I thought we were.

I thought we would struggle against the Chiefs as despite winning the turnover battle against the Chargers we lost that game and I thought we were bound to lose the turnover battle against the safety first Chiefs. The only thing really in our favour was the short week, but the emotion of Reid coming back probably cancelled that out. Chiefs are a good team with good leadership now.

Probably the thing that most annoyed me was that Demps and Akeem Jordan were on the Chiefs team performing admirably, when we let them go and have a shower of shite at safety and nothing beyond Ryans and Kendricks at ILB.

Dontari Poe made a big difference with pressure through the middle and for the 3-4 to work you need a great NT, so I imagine that will be first up in the draft.

I like Foles and I think he makes better decisions than Vick, but he's not the answer so I won't be calling for him. There were always going to be a few hiccups as we adapt to the fast paced spread offence and maybe the shortened week actually did us more damage than the Chiefs. At least the defence played better at times and if it hadn't been for a couple of dumbass fumbles then we could have still won the game.

Certainly plenty to be cheerful about overall and nice in particular to see Vinny Curry getting some gametime and making the most of it.

Not if you've watched him play recently. He does more dancing steps behind the line of scrimmage than Fred Astaire!!

We only have to rid ourselves of Brandie and we will have purged the disaster of the 2012 1st round draft! :lux:

Woof Woof!!!

Chaps, which is the best site to sign up with for NFL betting?

I want to stick a fiver down on a five-match accumulator for the 6pm Sunday games.

saxoneagle 21-09-2013 12:52 PM

Go to odds checker and see who has the best odds.

Benzhiyi 21-09-2013 01:07 PM

I'd rather just sign up with one site and use them every week. Any recommendations along those lines?

Paddy power, bet365 or betfred

I think b365 have a sign up bonus ie they will give you free bet to match your first bet.

Betfred will give you £10 free just for signing up so you won't have to deposit and can use the tenner for your bet

Mind sharing with us who are the five?

Swanny32 21-09-2013 07:08 PM

Think SkyBet are doing a completely free £10 bet as well.

Certainly:

San Diego, New England, New Orleans, Washington, Carolina.

Only looking to stick a couple of quid on a week, for a bit of fun in addition to the predictions league. £29 if the above five come good.

After just getting back from Palace, all I can say is, thank **** for NFL (and the fact the Eagles have already played and been shit).

Interestingly I only agree with two of those Ben!
