haha suck it up packers, blow that nice big lead

Latvian Eagle 22-09-2013 10:38 PM

How the Hell did we beat the Giants 38-0?

CT_Palace 23-09-2013 12:09 AM

And how the hell did the 9ers lose to the Colts???

Jaserob 23-09-2013 12:33 AM

I have to admit to being utterly disgusted today with the Vikings performance. I am not normally one for knee-jerk reactions but I think Frazier has to go. Oh, and he can take Ponder with him.

Swanny32 23-09-2013 12:55 PM

Need to sit down and watch Gameday at some point today, I played 36 holes yesterday in our Club championships, by the time I got back last night I was shattered, fell asleep on the sofa with about 10 minutes left to go of the Pats game (Bro was round watching on Gamepass)...he gave me a nudge when the 49ers game came on, I got out of my seat, kicked him out and went to bed....apparently. I don't remember it I was that tired.

Some strange results though by the looks of it. Who'd have thought that the Chiefs and the Dolphins would be 3-0 and the Steelers and Giants would be 0-3.

Perhaps he's 'pondering' :hi:

Interesting change of tactics. Avoid losing via a last second touchdown by repeatedly sacking the QB and not conceding any points at all. Then score a shitload yourself just to make sure.

A woeful performance by the Giants. Obviously Eli doesn't become a bad QB overnight. His OL was terrible. And our offense was allowed to do pretty much what it wanted all day.

What is good news for Panthers fans is that we seem to have harnessed the enigmatic skills of Ted Ginn Jr. He's extremely fast and offers another deep threat alongside Steve Smith at last. Once he's past a defensive back, no one's going to catch him. The difference now is that he can catch a decent thrown ball at the same time.

saxoneagle 23-09-2013 02:41 PM

Ted Ginn Jr scoring in consecutive weeks
Miami 3-0
Steelers 0-3
Giants shut out
Cleveland not going 0-16

What the **** is the world coming to?

jazman 23-09-2013 05:10 PM

Giants shut out :D :D :D :D :D
Skins lose
Filly lose
KFC the real deal
Love watching the Bengals after the Hard Knocks series .. great seeing those players I've taken a liking and how they are getting on

Biggest frustration for me was that despite playing fairly badly the last two weeks they could easily be 2-1. Just needed to be more gutsy, too many stupid errors.

I like Ponder, and if he's a 2nd rounder like Dalton you'd take the shortcomings.. but I'm already eyeing up ALL of the prospective first rounders for next year. He's the GM's only miss, but it's a pretty big one.

Latvian Eagle 23-09-2013 06:14 PM

Tavaris Jackson even got a TD for Seattle yesterday. :o

Good old Brownies, can't even tank the season properly! :lux:

Woof Woof!!!

The Broncos aren't winning anything.

Their running game is worse than the 07 Pats and 09 Saints.

They don't even attempt to run it.

Unless they are going to save Montee Ball to pound him through December and January, I don't see it.

The Super Bowl for me is Seattle vs Cincinnati.

Flat Noodle 24-09-2013 08:22 AM

Not sure we were watching the same game, but I think the Broncos' running game is fine with the combination of Moreno, Ball and Hillman. They may not have a superstar RB like McCoy or AP, but they make it up with their passing game (one of the best in comp!). As long as they can keep putting up 40 points per game, I don't think many will complain about their offense.

They rushed for 150 yards!

I know it is only against Oakland but that's a pretty convincing performance again by Denver. Felt like a training exercise though.

Their backs look solid and really when you consider who is behind centre, if Moreno or Hillman can give Manning 2nd & 4/5 it's all too easy for them.

Julius Thomas is still really impressive as well.

Can't believe the bookies opened up Colts 7 point fav over the insipid Jaguars!!!

Get on that now before it blows out to double digits by weekend.

1.95, you have to put a healthy amount of money on it to get a decent return. Not for me.

For those who don't know about it, season 5 of "The League" has just started in the US, great comedy series about a bunch of blokes who play fantasy football together. Really funny and worth watching from series 1.
