Offer something to Atlanta and Dimitroff for Gonzalez to try and get him a ring and IR Gronk.

LOL Patriots are not going to get anywhere near to a superbowl this season

Truly truly shocking. RIP little man.
Thoughts are with AP and his family.

LOL 4-1.

You are obviously not watching the games. This is the best Patriots defense since the days of Crennel.

Talib shut down AJ Green and Julio Jones, by himself.

Spikes will have to step up as the run stuffing LB without Big Vince in front.

Give me the Patriots over any team in the AFC barring the 5-0 combo.

And the Patriots over any NFC team not from New Orleans or Seattle.

Yeh, sorry. I probably shouldn't have posted it. I am just so emotional about that man, as you can see from my Avatar

It wasn't a dig or anything, the AD story outstrips anything related to football

They scrapped past Bills and jets, beat an ordinary Falcons who are now 1-4, beat an awful bucs team and lost to an ok Bengals.... they will be 4-2 after this week, they have one of the weakest schedules going! They will finish at or around .500

pauldrulez 12-10-2013 07:31 PM

We'll see.

The Rookie Receivers are getting better week on week, Amendola is nearly healthy, as is the Gronk. There was no Ridley last week, and Vereen is the 3rd best all-round Receiver on the team.

10 wins minimum.

I know mate. It probably should have been on it's own thread and kept this to the football though.

I'm sure we discussed other things on here though :) We're a community. Be it Chris Henry, Sean Taylor, Aaron Hernandez, Torrey Smith's brother etc, they were all talked about. I hope AD is bearing up, so far, I wonder if he has even had time to take it all in

Absolutely right, well said.

pauldrulez 13-10-2013 11:51 AM

My bets for today...

Doubles/Trebles/4-folds/Accumulator
First Team TD Scorer
Ray Rice 7/2
Jamaal Charles 7/2
Arian Foster 7/2
Reggie Bush 7/2
Marshawn Lynch 3/1

Pretty much get your money back on the bet if one Double lands.

Stake about £18 each week, in 2011, I had wins of £240 (would've been £450 if Hernandez hadn't had a drop vs Dallas... ****) and £195 plus a couple of doubles up. Last year I had 3 winners. It's a profit every year with odds like this! If he plays, Peterson is 13/5 for the Vikes.

Flat Noodle 13-10-2013 12:36 PM

Is it not better to bet on them to score TD anytime? You'll probably get much lesser odds but almost a sure thing.

You're looking at odds around 8/11 for them to score, from keeping an eye on it over the season, you would have more wins, but to gain the same profit, you would be needing 3-4 to come up every week.

pauldrulez 13-10-2013 12:53 PM

Rice 4/6
Bush 4/5
Charles 1/1
Foster 4/7
Lynch 1/2

(Peterson 1/2)

You do get some good value anytime ones, Le'veon Bell is 11/10 for example. But, all 5 Denver regular starters range between 4/11 and 8/15 today.

Flat Noodle 13-10-2013 01:01 PM

Thanks for posting the odds up, Paul. I'll keep an eye on this week result and compare what payouts are like between the two methods. :p

No probs, I think I'll keep an eye on the 2nd tier Anytime TD'ers

Megatron 1/1
Bell 11/10
Sproles 1/1
Blount 1/1 (Normally, I would say Gronk at Evens is spot-on odds, but of course, he's too much of a pussy to play by most accounts)
Witten 6/5

Or 3rd tier risk/reward Receivers who have had big TD weeks before
Thompkins 17/10
Antonio Brown 9/5
Pettigrew 13/8
Cobb 7/5
Bowe 9/5

Worth keeping an eye on those sort of levels, I'll keep an eye on all the games and report the findings :p

Think thats too short

Hunter has 2 rushing TD's as does Dixon, Gore only has 3, they have CK who can run it in too....

Swanny32 13-10-2013 05:33 PM

The only thing that worries me about that bet is the Cards are pretty decent against the run but anytime at 2.62 seems pretty good, everyone else has him at 1.7 something
