Not just Oakland - KC and Denver, the other divisional rivals, too.

He's also scored NINE TDs in FOUR games v Cincy, too!

And he has scored a TD vs 30 of the 31 other teams, with none against Philly (only receiving TDs against Green Bay, too!)

Nope, your not , I made a mistake :clown:

But, he does do very well against AFC North, averaging 5.0 YPC. Its also interesting that he does so much better outdoors than In, compared to other players. I'm going to look at Brady now :D

pauldrulez 03-09-2008 05:09 PM

Bradys passer rating against NFC South: 107.0
Bradys passer rating against AFC West: 87.1.

134.3 against Atlanta
66.5 against Carolina

104.7 Indoors, 91.9 out
103.5 Turf, 87.2 Grass.
And better at night than day :o

Out of the Top 10 picks in the Draft, 3 arent starting the season. Harvey, McFadden and Gholston. 4, 6 and 8 in the draft. Shouldnt they be starting that high in the draft? Although Harvey has only just signed for the Jags, and McFadden is behind Fargas, what is up with Gholston, always knew he was a bust.

Here we go, if only to break the monotenousness of Paul talking to himself!

RUDI’S CRAZY DAY IN DETROIT
Posted by Mike Florio on September 2, 2008, 9:17 p.m. EDT
A strange thing happened to running back Rudi Johnson when he visited with the Detroit Lions on Monday.

Someone stole his stuff.

Seriously.

Specifically, and as we’re told by a reliable source (i.e., not the person who told Mort that Joey Harrington had agreed to terms with the Ravens on Monday, or the person who told John Clayton that Todd Bouman had agreed to terms with the Ravens on Tuesday), Johnson left his bags outside CEO Matt Millen’s office while he met with team officials and, ultimately, worked out a deal with the team.

So when Johnson came back to get his bags, they were nowhere to be found. Johnson and Millen were stumped.

Enter the eye in the sky.

The team checked the videotapes generated by the team’s in-house surveillance system, and they quickly identified the culprit.

So who might it have been? None other than Tatum Bell, who lost his gig with the Lions after Rudi arrived.

Per the source, Bell took the bags to the house of a female acquaintance. When confronted on the matter, Bell offered up some cockamamie story that he thought the bags belonged to someone he knew. The girl, however, said that she hadn’t seen Bell in several months and he showed up out of the blue and asked her to keep the bags for a while.

Johnson has retrieved the bags, and it’s our understanding that charges won’t be pressed.

Tatum apparently didn’t know that he was being monitored.

I wasnt talking to myself this time, there were posts in between and all 3 were on different things.

Talking of Johnsons, What about Chad Jo..Ocho Cinco, or as he should have called it ochenta y cinco. Will he be able to push himself closer to TO and Moss as the best in this league?

pauldrulez 03-09-2008 08:28 PM

Continuing on with talking to myself but back to the Rookies of the Year, and taking on Grims role as your unofficial oddsgiver:
Defensive
Gholston, V 4/1 Dorsey, G 5/1
Mayo, J 13/2 Long, C 7/1
Rodgers-Cromartie, D 8/1 Rivers, K 9/1
Cason, A 10/1 McKelvin, L 10/1
Ellis, S 14/1 Phillips, K 14/1

Offensive
McFadden, D 4/1 Forte, M 5/1
Smith, K 11/2 Stewart, J 13/2
Jones, F 9/1 Ryan, M 9/1
Albert, B 16/1 Rice, R 16/1

Hardy, J 22/1 Sweed, L 25/1
Flacco, J 28/1 Keller, D 28/1
Thomas, D 28/1 Henne, C 50/1

And rather than copying the whole thing, here is the link to the MVP of 2008 odds.
http://odds.bestbetting.com/american...aluable-player
Top 10: Brady, Manning, LT, AP, Romo, Moss, Brees, Favre, Eli Manning and TO, with Maroney and Addai just behind.

pauldrulez 03-09-2008 08:31 PM

Hold the Press (while talking to myself)

Anyone with a Skybet account (My Mum:D) can get Gholston at 40/1 for Overall Rookie of the Year despite being 9s with everyone else, Mayo also 40s and Dorsey 16s.

Being selected that high in the draft doesn't mean you're an instant starter - look at last year's number one pick. I'd actually say seven out of 10 is a pretty high percentage.

pauldrulez 03-09-2008 09:13 PM

But considering a few media sources from within these teams are moaning that Top 10 picks should be starting immediately its quite odd.

Gholston especially should be starting but he has been shocking in pre-season.

On NFL.com it has the amount of rookies starting in games and 24 from all the teams is pretty good for week 1. But at least 3 are from the Chiefs (unsurprisingly;)) What a game for Dorsey, Flowers and Albert to start in though.

Carson Palmer is another good example of that.

Oh, and the evil dog abuser who's name I won't mention.

pauldrulez 03-09-2008 11:05 PM

Does his name rhyme with prick, dick and makes me sick?

Strathclyde Eagle 04-09-2008 12:08 AM

Yeah, that one.

The bloke is a complete Spanner! :hmph: Although the NFL were considering taking some sort of action which is kind of b*ll*cks considering he's legally changed his name!

Chester 04-09-2008 01:49 AM

He is pure entertainment and one of my favourite players. He was a spanner over the summer but his passion and especially his celebrations remind me of Deion Sanders.

Latvian Eagle 04-09-2008 01:55 AM

I don't mind him to be honest in the sense of his play, but he does come across a bit too much for my liking. Kind of reminds me of an American football version of Chris Eubank.

jazman 04-09-2008 11:56 AM

SSN last night had the guy that presents the NFL coverage predicting that the Colts and the Cowboys are his picks to reach the Superbowl.

Cowboys 8-1 to win it :p

saxoneagle 04-09-2008 12:22 PM

Romo will bottle it after spending a week shacked up in Mexico with an amazingly hot blonde... oh, no, that was last year.

Don't think I can take TO's tears again, jaz ;)

jazman 04-09-2008 12:32 PM

Better make sure we win it this time around then so there won't be any tears ...

If Romo makes an honest woman of Simpson then he will get into the realm of wanting to get out there and play rather than be at home .... :D

saxoneagle 04-09-2008 12:39 PM

If he doesn't want to make an honest women of her, I'd happily make a dishonest one :p :o
