Mental evening.

I thought Dallas had blew it but fair play to Romo for pulling it out at the death.

Am pretty shocked at Arizona going into Seattle and winning, but that should give everyone else hope (especially the Panthers, Niners & Saints) going into the post season.

Puts pressure on the Niners tonight, but we shouldn't have a problem against Atlanta.

NFC west now has three 10+ win teams, and if the Rams (big IF mind) were to go into Seattle next Sunday and also win, the entire division would be at .500 or above. Comfortably the strongest division in football...

Barring miracles, 3 time Fantasy Champion here! :lux:

My money league team needs 38+ from Kaepernick.

It chose today to have its worst game of the year and score 44pts...

Shame Panthers blew those games against Seattle and the Bills. Still, good to be back in the playoffs!

Poor Drew looked very grumpy in the rain being picked off and sacked. Did anyone see the Thomas Davis interception? Reminded me of the test match catch by Roger Harper against England for the West Indies!

It is a shame but I don't think I would want number 1 in the Conference. Part of me wants the Wild card actually after what happened last time we finished second in the NFC. Far too many haunting memories of 2009.

I wouldn't blame that horrible memory on the seeding!

No but I now have an irrational fear of us being decent during the season only to fudge it right up in the post season and ruin ourselves for all eternity again.

davematt 23-12-2013 10:45 AM

Just trying to work this all out from a Niners perspective, but I THINK we are in IF we win tonight. Is it that simple?

We would go to 11-5 with a better divisional record and confernece record than the Cardinals even if they go on and beat us on Sunday (Head to Head would be tied as we beat them earlier in the season at the Stick).

In fact, the Cardinals would need to win on Sunday and the Saints to lose at home to Tampa to get in; am I right?

Just done some research and I'm right.

Just got to get it done tonight against the Falcons...

Home advantage is more important than any imaginary curse.

But you had the unfortunate Delhomme disadvantage!

Not sure that is fair... Jake Delhomme had a brilliant year but if ever there was a career defining / destroying moment then that loss to the Cardinals really was it. JD was offered a new contract on the strength of his regular season play that season... The after effects of the play off loss weren't obvious until after he had signed the contract and we begun the next season by which time it was all a bit late.

Seahawks sucked last night, the O line was abysmal.

Great to see Filly blow all their points allowance up last night ;)

Latvian Eagle 23-12-2013 12:46 PM

In the post season the two teams I fear are Seattle and San Fran. I would feel confident against the Bears, Saints or Philly.

Vince Hilaire's Afro 23-12-2013 01:58 PM

I think Seattle peaked too early. Seen it many times that a team storms the regular season, then an inconsistent team bungles into the playoffs and blows them away.

Like Arizona. I think we thumped them in the 2008 regular season!

F*** you Kurt Warner! :veryangry
