Yeah, can only echo Ardeo really, he summed it up completely. Thought Orton did a reasonable enough job despite turning the ball over a couple of times, especially as he hasn't played for ages! Much closer than I expected it to be and when you got the ball back with 2 minutes left to play I had heart palpitations, no finger nails, felt sick and would have put money on us throwing it away and giving you the win. It wasn't to be though and Boykin made a hell of a play to end it.
I was tempted to stay awake for it, but had a 7:52 tee time yesterday morning so in reality I was never going to be able to keep my eyes open and by half time in the Packers/Bears game, I was out for the count on the sofa. Wife gave me a nudge at about 11:30 to which I dragged myself upstairs and then spent the next 7 hours tossing and turning, worrying about what was going on in Dallas.......I really need to move to America.
Fancy our chances against the Saints, if we can get some pressure on Brees. We failed miserably at pressuring Orton last night, if we allow Brees the same luxury he'll pick us apart. If I was a betting man though, I'd put my money on the Saints to turn us over, unfortunately. |
