The reality of no more football for seven months is now sinking in :sob:

I enjoy the combine and build up to the draft and then the actual draft itself, but nothing beats games.

What a superb season.

As the Seattle Seahawks were the first team I ever saw play on Sky Sports when randomly flicking through one Sunday evening (no idea who the opposition were now), I kind of take great joy in this Super Bowl win despite being a Carolina Panthers fan. Because of that fateful night I always have a special place for the Seahawks. :p Plus the first copy of Madden I bought had Shaun Alexander in Seahawks uni on the cover.

Pretty sure a couple of years ago people were slating Pete Carroll and that he wasn't cut out to be an NFL Head Coach.

No offence but why does everything always get turned around to the Patriots with you? Take a day off dude, sheesh!

Maybe I should talk about uniforms, or the Panthers.

Seriously mate, you might want to step back and not involve yourself in every thread in World of Football and World of Sport.

See you next September :hi:

 At least it's more interesting than reading you wanking yourself silly over the Patriots 24/7.

The way I look at it...

We were ONE play away from beating them two weeks ago; they then hands down beat the most potent offence arguably ever seen in a single season.

So I have no problem praising them; we are very close to them providing we make a few important tweaks this off season.

The NFC is between us and them next year again, and maybe the Panthers. Everyone else in our conference is no way near us IMO. Not from a physicality stand point anyway.

Latvian Eagle 04-02-2014 09:54 AM

Definitely the Seahawks, Niners, Panthers in the NFC with the Saints just as outsiders.

AFC... I know the Broncos had the best offence but were / are they the best team?

Its just a shame the M's suck so much, however, if there smart you'd think they'd react to the good feeling in sports right now in Seattle.

davematt 04-02-2014 11:56 AM

On a slight side note, during the Super Bowl, you see so many tweets from sports reporters that previously you had no idea existed. Check out Melanie Collins. My word

My ex-girlfriend was a Seahawks cheerleader and their Superbowl win was for her as sadly she passed away last year after a long battle against illness.

This victory was the first major trophy that Seattle has ever won and she was such an enthusiastic sports fan and her fanaticism for her college team the Washington Huskies and her beloved Seahawks was on a par with what mine is for Palace.

So pleased for Seattle's long suffering fans that they have finally won something.

Oh boy. If anyone can make the full 15 minutes of this, bravo.

CT_Palace 05-02-2014 01:44 AM

Easy Funk.
And all clear proof of how the Cheathawks won that game.

Catching up post Super Bowl, I'm sorry Flat Noodle but this made me laugh. :D

Placed a few bets already:

- E Decker anytime TD

I hope you're the reverse of some people I work with and only tell us about the ones you lose. :)
