Very tough for the Cowboys. From memory I think it is five road games in the final seven! At least they are coming to London :lux:

Earl Thomas 4 year extension, not sure of the details yet.

we (Seahawks) have hired Jeff Ireland as well, as draft consultant.

Lets just hope he's a better scout than he was GM!

Less than a week till the draft now.

What you hoping for?

Many people thinking the 49ers may look to trade up (potentially with the Raiders). We could give them our 30th overall 1st round pick as well as potentially one of our 2nd & 3rd round picks for their 5th pick.

If they do this, it would have to be for Sammy Watkins or Mike Evans. Get an explosive/or powerful wide out opposite Crabtree, and Kaepernick will have all the weapons he needs.

We do need a corner though, but trading up this high to take either Gilbert or Dennard would be risky. They aren't worth the value at this pick.

Its going to be a very interesting first round.

Beckham.

All the talk is the Falcons moving up to #1. But the bounty being thrown around is ridiculous. I heard a guy yesterday say the Falcons would have to give a 1st and 3rd this year, plus their 1st, 2nd and 3rd next year. That is just ludicrous. Sure, the Redskins got fleeced for RG3 but last year the Dolphins traded #12 plus a second round pick to move all the way up to #3. That's closer to what I'm thinking.

As much as Clowney has the potential to be the best defensive player in football, that would be way too much to give up. But Atlanta have fallen in love with him by the sounds of it, so it wouldn't be a shock if they did go through with such a deal...

I have the feeling a corner will be the 1st round pick with a wide out as second. Depends on availables though.

If Dimitroff can get away with moving up to #1 without giving away additional 1st rounders, he'll probably do it. Outside of that, I think the most likely scenario is moving up to #4 and taking Mack or Robinson if they're still there. Then the Browns can take Manziel at #6.

Regarding Clowney, it all depends on what you think he will be. I know that the Green Bay Packers would have gladly traded two first rounders plus other stuff to move up from #6 in 1981 and take Lawrence Taylor. Instead they drafted the "great" Rich Campbell.

Bill Barnwell has really come up with the dumbest trade of them all:

Quote:

Atlanta gets: First overall pick in this year’s draft.

Houston gets: Third overall pick in this year’s draft, Atlanta’s 2014 fifth-round pick, Atlanta’s 2015 first-round pick, and Jacksonville’s fourth-round pick (105) in this year’s draft.

Jacksonville gets: Sixth overall pick in this year’s draft, Atlanta’s 2016 first-round pick, Atlanta’s 2014 second-round pick (37), and Atlanta’s 2015 second-round pick.

You get the idea: Houston has to get a first-rounder back (at minimum) for dealing out of the top spot, but since it’s moving down only two slots (and taking the 2015 Atlanta first-rounder as opposed to the 2016 selection), Jacksonville gets the rest of the draft haul. Atlanta gets the star, Houston gets the player it wants anyway, and Jacksonville gets some much-needed draft capital over the next few seasons.
There was no comments section (for obvious reasons, I guess) so I had to tweet him how dumb that was.

I have a feeling that I will say I'm not going to stay up on Thursday night...

And then at 3.30am, I will be sat there as the words "WE HAVE A TRADE" as the Patriots are on the clock.

Something will be thrown through the TV screen at that point ;)

They need to move the draft back to April.

I'm bored of the boredom.

Either make Free Agency later or put the Draft back where it was!

The problem they have is the availability of Radio City.

The same date issues they faced this year are the same for next year, and Goodell has said they are exploring the option of moving it to a different location.

General feeling is the extra two weeks has been more of a pain; evaluators looking TOO deep into the prospects and then you have the issue of not actually getting hold of your new players till now, whereas in previous years the players will already be two weeks into the play books etc...
