Somebody in Detroit is working on a JFK/Dealey Plaze diorama right now.

it was a big call most notably because it was called, then flag picked-up...however there isn't obvious evidence of disruptive contact by the defender, especially in real-time motion, and in replay from one angle you can see the receiver got the facemask of the defender. If simply not called then it wouldn't be a huge deal. Detroit still needed to score after the play. Pinning the game on this play is silly for Detroit fans. Dallas, in a tough game against a damn good defense maintained and fought through and stopped Detroit on the final drive.

Wow. What a game that was. I felt absolutely shattered by the end of the that but may have had more to do with the time on a Sunday UK time.
THAT call thehy are banging on about, there was contact both ways, Megatron had a slight pull on the defenders facemask so that is likely to have cancelled out the original call. Anyway, we got through that when Romo was not at his best. Seemed a little off but that may have had a lot to do with the early pressure from the Lions D. Fair play to them, they came and they had a go and almost had enough. DeMarcus Lawrence gave me kittens at the end but chuffed for the guy that he managed the sack and turnover in the end that sealed the game. I was never confident with a home game and it almost proved a valid feeling. That is how we have been playing at home this season. But we are through to face the Packers which is likely to be another battle. |
So we travel to Seattle... Tough game but I'd rather be facing them than the Packers I have to admit.

Get yourself to The Pike Pub & Brewery (downtown within the Pike St Market) they do some great beers, I highly recommend their stout. |

Blimey. Watching that last night felt like I was on the end of one of one of Ndamukong Suhs hits. Was shouting at the TV " I did not stay up this late to watch you lose Dallas"!!!! So pleased for Lawrence when he made up for his rookie mistake. Would have preferred to be playing Seattle instead, but they are all quality teams at this stage. |

A punter, he's not a football player. It was an easy call to make whether he made the most of it or not, can't dive in and not allow the kicker to land back on his kicking foot. The centennial of the rule being introduced, as it goes. |

It was foolish of the Cowboys player but it wasn't called when the Lions player did it to our punter. The officials had an off night but that simply made it all the more compelling I think if I'm honest. Regardless, it must have been quite a game for the neutral. And that is another team we have beaten with a winning record. Not bad for a 'poor' side eh? ;) |
Haven't seen the Cowboy punter's incident yet as I was away for a few minutes, sounded like a little bit of "anything you can do I can do better" between the punters. ;)
