It wasn't the fact that they kicked, it was that the Line couldn't hold for one more play on Tuck.

I havent seen it yet admittedly, but if he broke through or got a big push for the stop, then its pretty poor stuff.

But Eagles are in the RZ again.

And Mattyice has been excellent for the Falcons so far.

pauldrulez 07-12-2008 07:59 PM

Oops.

ANOTHER 37yd FIELD GOAL ATTEMPT IS BLOCKED

Now that, is pretty poor

How on earth are the Lions winning/Vikings losing when AP is running for nearly 6 yards a carry? Stop messing around Childress and make sure he has more than the mere 10 runs he has at this point.

Strathclyde Eagle 07-12-2008 08:01 PM

Gus Frerotte taken out of the game in Detroit. :clown:

Benzhiyi 07-12-2008 08:02 PM

Yep, Ryan is one special player. Brilliant to watch.

If SkySports get wind their TV link is being used they will be less than impressed :D

Only problem is its a few mins behind but TG is on now

3 blocked FGs in the game, 2nd one, man came round the side and just got a finger on it to take pace off.

First one for return came straight through the middle

Westbrook catching and running in for a 40 yard TD on 3rd and 11. Eagles been 9/10 3rd down conversions

ardeo 07-12-2008 08:22 PM

Are you actually allowed to celebrate a touchdown in anyway whatsoever anymore?

Are the Steelers stupid enough to sell themselves completely on the passing game as they are facing a quality QB, a top TE and one of the best WR corps in the league.

Come on Dallas :lux:

In all seriousness Paul, I am very worried about tonights match. I think Barber being injured could be one too far for us. I'm excited about Choice, he looked tasty coming in last week, but being honest Barber is a complete RB, whereas Choice is a rookie learning the NFL. It's about time the Steelers lost a game, but like I said, I'm worried .... a loss could and probably will end our season.

Without doubt :p

Strathclyde Eagle 07-12-2008 08:50 PM

One more Vikings first down and the Lions go to 0-13. And in all likelihood the Vikings will have won two games against them by a total of three points.

pauldrulez 07-12-2008 08:52 PM

I'm praying for a Dallas win anyhow.

And Choice may be a rookie and will struggle to pick up the exotic blitzes of the Steelers, but rushing and receiving, he'll be fine.

Strathclyde Eagle 07-12-2008 08:54 PM

The Lions hold. Vikes 4th & 11 from the Detroit 32. Try a long FG or punt and stick them in the corner? In most circumstances I'd kick the FG but if you miss the Lions get great field position, probably only need to go 25 yards with Hanson kicking for them.

pauldrulez 07-12-2008 08:54 PM

The Vikings will probably Punt from the 32 and hope it goes out in the right place.

27 secs left and the Vikes take a timeout.

pauldrulez 07-12-2008 08:55 PM

Scored the FG :D need a TD now

Strathclyde Eagle 07-12-2008 08:55 PM

Longwell good from 50. That's why I'm not a coach. :clown:

Lions have 22 seconds to score a TD and have no time-outs left. If the Vikings squib kick it they're daft.

Strathclyde Eagle 07-12-2008 08:57 PM

Culpepper fumbles. Where have we heard that before?

Strathclyde Eagle 07-12-2008 08:57 PM

Never mind the clock and field position, they've got a 3rd and 15 to convert.

Strathclyde Eagle 07-12-2008 08:58 PM

And another sack to finish. :clown:

Strathclyde Eagle 07-12-2008 08:59 PM

Couple of good decisions at the end there by Childress. The Vikes defence probably ends up being the difference in the NFC North. That and AP.
