;)

When I get home from college you will pay for that.

Everyone, thanks to saxon I will be listing every injury so far this season to the Patriots. :hi:

So you have him to thank for it.

Oh, and Bruschi has flown home leaving us with 5 fit Linebackers out on the west coast.

But of course, I'm not complaining. ;) :hi:

saxoneagle 08-12-2008 02:17 PM

I suggest everyone put Paul on their ignore list. :D

But 1 in a 1000 posts are valuable information according to Ben.

Ah well, it was nice to see Colvin come in for his first play and manage to take out their player and then land on Vrabel and take him out for two quarters.:moo:

pauldrulez 08-12-2008 02:34 PM

And saxon, how dare you not mention the avatar ;)

Which ones better....

Miami is the best! At something good!!

Turnover differential, to be precise:

pauldrulez 08-12-2008 04:29 PM

I'll see your turnover differential with:

Amount of plays from line of scrimmage - http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorysta...M&d-447263-p=1

and raise you:

Least Penalties -

Doesn't surprise me.

Our O never ever gives the ball away. My main plus point about Chad really...

The only chance the opposition ever have at a short field is a good punt return (which happens often). So our offense, by not losing the ball is helping the D to shut them out.

3 and outs are better than a fumble or pick on 1stdown!

What were our respective records again last season? :hi: :o

pauldrulez 08-12-2008 04:37 PM

;)

Interestingly (or not) -

We have the best 4th down record on defense and 3rd best on offense
Offense - http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorysta...M&d-447263-p=1

Defense - http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorysta...P&d-447263-p=1

But we are 3rd worst on 3rd downs but the Colts surprisingly are the worst.
Joint Last on Forced Fumbles with 11 and I think Cassel has nearly 11 himself.

Interestingly enough the two offensive ones where we are good we were also at the top of last year.

pauldrulez 08-12-2008 04:37 PM

I hate you Ben, now I'm stuck looking through millions of stats again

elliott 08-12-2008 04:43 PM

Was it on here where it was mentioned who had the 2nd best red zone offense in the league? Or did I read it elsewhere?

Anyone fancy a guess?

I know - all we've heard this season is about our easy schedule so don't make me mention 2-30 again ;)

Atlanta?

pauldrulez 08-12-2008 06:06 PM

I'll be looking around other teams in a minute for injuries as well,

But, as promised...

Patriots injuries:
QB: Brady (IR)
RB: Maroney (IR), Jordan (missed 7 weeks), Morris (missed 3/4 weeks)
WR: Washington (basically no-one), Aiken (1wk)
TE: All rubbish anyway
OL: Neal (PUP for 6wks), Kaczur (2 wks), Koppen, Ross(PUP to IR)

Front 3: Seymour (1wk), Warren (2wks), Wilfork (1wk, now injured again)
LB: Thomas (IR), Alexander (IR), Crable (IR), Bruschi (possible IR+multiple injuries), Vrabel, Woods(possible IR, broken jaw), Redd (2wks),
CB: Wheatley(IR), Webster(IR), Sanders (5wks)
S: Williams(IR), Harrison(IR)

There are other less important players who have been injured or have gone on IR, but they dont count.

I'll look around at other teams and report my findings ;)

First time I have had the chance to come on here since my marathon spell of NFL last night.

Two quick points:

1) How did the Cowboys blow that?

2) Go on the Ravens although I thought we were going to blow that towards the end with Flacco throwing the pick and Maghee fumbling.

AddiscombeEagle 08-12-2008 06:13 PM

Also, was in Croydon today and someone stopped me because I was wearing my Ravens hoodie to tell me he had never seen a Ravens fan in Croydon before.

Interesting of him to tell me (I think)

pauldrulez 08-12-2008 07:16 PM

Lol, I saw a Chargers hoodie jacket (the Sherpa thing advertised on NFL.com) at the races on Saturday. Under that was a Raiders shirt.

Sort of defeats the point when you spend going on $250 on two different teams that are in the same division, but whatever floats your boat.

Ravens and Falcons, both seem to be impressing every week under their new QBs. Mattyice performed well for the first 3 quarters(all I saw) despite the loss.

And yeah, How did the :moo:boys blow that? The Steelers are a great D, but to give up an INT TD two plays after they go level is pretty ridiculous.

Lucky for them that the Falcons lost otherwise that would have been that.

The Cardinals travel about as well as Iraqi army convoy crossing a bridge in February 1991. That's a certain win for you. Absolute lock I'd say.
