Yeh, I also tried to tell my boss that I was his boss now that our major shareholder (RBS) is owned by the UK taxpayer (which I still do, on my bank interest :p)

No time for shopping :p

Nice idea.

Trouble is, it's her 40th birthday the month before so will have to make it a joint pressie to ourselves ...

On a lighter note, found while researching a few features of Madden 10:

Wildcat being somewhat similar to hail mary with a RB as QB is alot like saying Tom Brady dating Gisele is somewhat similar to him dating Amy Winehouse.

The best plan is if she does her "thing" and you do yours. Then meet in the evenings for dinner.

Unless you've had a dirty fat hot dog at the baseball then let the bitch go hungry... :D

I'm sure my wife loves me really ;)

Full schedule announced on Tuesday at 7pm EST (midnight for you UK peeps).

pauldrulez 10-04-2009 03:33 PM

So I might finally get around to booking my Boston/NY trip.

If it doesn't work out well, then I might go for Miami away game depending on when it is. Florida and NY/Boston have always been my trips that I wanted to do.

pauldrulez 10-04-2009 05:55 PM

I have done my next mock draft, not typed it up yet though, but i've made a lot of changes in the last month.

3 QBs, 2 RBs, 5 WRs, 1 TE, 6 OTs, 2 DTs, 5 DEs, 6 LBs and 2 CBs. Guess them all, go on ;)

BBSers teams picks:
4 Seattle - Eugene Monroe, OT
13 Washington - Michael Oher, OT
16 San Diego - Rey Maualuga, LB
17 NY Jets - Tyson Jackson, DE
21 Philly - Knowshon Moreno, RB
23 Patriots - Robert Ayers, DE (Told you he would fly up draft boards) :o
25 Miami - Vontae Davis, CB (Originally Smith, but I dropped Davis from 15 to 25)
26 Baltimore - Darius Heyward-Bey, WR
Philly - Eben Britton, OT
32 Steelers - William Beatty, OT

:)

pauldrulez 10-04-2009 05:59 PM

And if I have my two choices for the Patriots at #23 and #34. They are below :D

Where's Atlanta, homes.

pauldrulez 10-04-2009 06:09 PM

I had a LB when I had it first time round today.

But it changed to: Brandon Pettigrew, TE.

pauldrulez 10-04-2009 06:16 PM

And the other 2 options were Larry English, OLB or James Laurinaitis, ILB :)

I don't know why a bunch of mock drafts have Pettigrew to the Falcons. I will be amazed if they pick an offensive player in the 1st round, let alone a TE. My theory is they will target somebody further down and just trade down to try and get some more picks this year and next.

pauldrulez 10-04-2009 09:44 PM

I also think you'll be trading down, but this mock is without trades.

I think the Broncos will be jumping up to 9 (using either 1st) to snag Cutler ahead of the 49ers and hope Raji is still there at 12.

Falcons move down, possibly to the Rams if a top player has slipped.

nookiebear 10-04-2009 10:32 PM

Redskins may well trade down as well. Although rumours are growing they may take Sanchez at 13 if he is still there. Doesn't bode well for Campbell if so

Paul, the Pats wanted Skins DE Phillip Daniels before he resigned in DC

pauldrulez 11-04-2009 10:36 AM

We're looking at anything to improve the pass rush right now.

From draft to free agency to trade.

I don't see Sanchez getting past the Broncos at 12. If he is there at 11 going past the 49ers, then there will be teams burning up the phone to take the Bills #11 spot in my opinion. (Probably wrong though)

ardeo 11-04-2009 11:32 AM

Yes from the looks of Moreno i'd be very happy with drafting him. Can catch as well as run so would fit nicely into our current offence.

elliott 11-04-2009 11:32 AM

I was planning on coming over, but I've been ****ed by my degree.

My term starts on September 7th.
I'd want to go and watch a Navy game, but there's no chance of me getting back in time.

Maybe christmas. I'll see what the schedule's like!

I'm looking at comparing the mock drafts I've seen over the weekend, so can let you know more but including my representation on a site, most are taking RB and then OT. I took Moreno and then Beatty (6th OT taken). But it depends.

The NFL has expanded the number of players invited to the draft April 25-26 in New York to at least 10. But USC quarterback Mark Sanchez has decided not to be among them.

Sanchez's USC teammate, linebacker Brian Cushing, is among the players who have accepted invitations. Two other projected first-round quarterbacks, Matthew Stafford of Georgia and Josh Freeman of Kansas State, will attend the draft.

Wake Forest linebacker Aaron Curry, Texas Tech wide receiver Michael Crabtree, Virginia offensive tackle Eugene Monroe, Ole Miss offensive tackle Michael Oher, Texas defensive end Brian Orakpo and Baylor offensive tackle Jason Smith are also expected in New York.

The NFL routinely has invited six of the projected top picks but league officials decided to expand the list to include players who have compelling stories, even if they are not necessarily top 10 selections.

Sanchez has elected to stay in California to enjoy the moment with family and friends. There is an outside chance he will change his mind to be in New York.

The league is expected to make a formal announcement by Monday.
A couple of those players could be sitting there by the time the Broncos have picked twice. And no Andre Smith. They must have run out of food.
