Exactly.

I don't like Favre, but the way he has played this year is admirable.

I'm sure we'll get all this retirement shit again which for me clouds everything he does.

And, this is pure bullying from Minnesota.

They aren't even blitzing.

Romo is being served up as the main course that's for sure ... Thanks all it's been emotional ..

At least we can enjoy the remainder of the post season with none of us regulars seeing our teams there ... :p

I love the way that you can claim that steve hutchison is the best guard in history, and then not be sure how good lott was. Sorry, but that surely means that you are not qualified to make such grand statements. In fact, if you saw a list of the top 10 guards ever, could you even name the teams they played for?

Give me the list, i'll see what I can do.

And am I allowed to say.

Widely regarded to be one of the Best Guards ever.

Since I obviously wasn't old enough to see most of them.

Or Lott.

Hey look at your user CP, Pos rep has come your way my friend!!!!!

BTW here is a little secret for you ........ when I first got in to the NFL guess who was my team for the first couple of years...... The Patriots! I watched that Superbowl against the Bears in Jan 86 in my halls of residence in the first year of my degree course at Oxford Polytechnic.

I was one of the few who did not cheer for the Bears that night and I still hate them for that game!!!

I then moved to the Rams for a year or so before settling on the Eagles in about 88 or 89!!!

PPS guess who my Bro supported until a year or so ago ...... (that mad Browns fan Woof Woof) yep the Patriots but he gave up on them out of the embarassment of them always winning ... a true Palace fan!!!

Indeed we sat and watched that 2005 SB together..In some ways I think he was more gutted for me than I was!!!

Oh well rant over........I do have a soft spot for thePatriots really but Go Eagles!!! :hi:

Got an hour till the Chargers game so time for Madden, this one is over, can't believe we lost to that lot! Mind you, we wouldn't have beaten the Vikings anyway.

My predictions this weekend, Cards, Colts, Cowboys, Chargers. 1 correct so far. I only got 1 correct last weekend as well so if that is anything to go by then expect a Jets win!

jazman 17-01-2010 08:37 PM

Well, it's been a pleasure and an honour bantering with you guys this season. It's even been emotional (well, most of you anyway .. ;) ) ... here's to enjoying the rest of the close season without rose tinted specs by any of us and looking forward to next season ... :p :lux:

pauldrulez 17-01-2010 08:37 PM

I'll be having a shower soon.

Giving it until 5 minutes left in this before I go.

Unless the old Jesters fans return should they beat San Diego.

Best D-Line in the league. Williams Wall and Allen. Add in Edwards who is destroying Colombo and that's one hell of a Line.

2nd best RB in the league. Any arguments with Peterson?

Great WR/TE corps. Shiancoe is in Top 10 of TDs. Sidney Rice has been amazing. Percy Harvin is brilliant for a Rookie. Bernard Berrian is probably the best #3 WR in the league.

Best Guard in NFL history. Steve Hutchinson. Possibly debatable. Everything I hear about John Hannah means he competes, but Hutchinson is definitely the best of the era.

Decent Secondary. Winfield is a top 10 CB. Their Safeties fly around the field and Benny Sapp is lightning quick and learning fast.

Debate with me on them.

I don't follow the NFL to the extent that you do. Come to think of it, nowhere near what you do. However, I'm good at working out when statements are incorrect ;):D
