Give it a few minute.

They'll soon learn something called an INT TD.

And the Sanchez love-in is getting on my nerves.

My old man lived in Edenbridge from mid sixties till 83' (i think), my grandparents still live there just round the corner from the co-op in Manor house gardens. I used to play a lot of golf at the golf course there until it got really shit and ran out of money to do anything about it! They completely ruined the place when they put in all that town bypass crap a few years ago. Confused me the first time I went down to see my nan, didn't have a clue where I was going!

Do you know many family names around the town? Bridle? Swanson?

One of the commentators was saying thats if you are in contact when you catch the ball, but floyd was hit on the second step. So I guess that means that counts as while he was catching and therefore an incomplete pass?

I had a geography teacher called Mrs Bridle? at secondary school? I know Manor House Gardens though but my neck of the woods was Marlpit Hill and my local was the Swan!!! :p

My surname is Nunn and my mum used to work at the doctors (receptionist and then practice manager!!)

Edenbridge Eagle In Exile 17-01-2010 11:09 PM

I used to play golf there as well as at Holtye!!!! It was sad when they let the Skeynes Course go at Edenbridge!!

Heart in mouth time when Revis had the ball.

Thought he was going to do a Cromartie.

Swanny32 17-01-2010 11:14 PM

Hmmmm, the Bridle's I know are Ian and his brother............something or another! Can't remember his name. I'll ask my old man when I next see him (Superbowl weekend) if he knows the Nunn name. I used to go to the dentists on Stangrove Road, her name was Miss Brummett or something like that.

My Grandad used to own the small DIY store at the top of Stangrove Road.

Holtye golf course, I hate that course, think it's the 6th or 7th hole where you tee off over a slight dip then straight up hill, I have lost so many damn balls on that hole!

Edenbridge GC used to be so nice, I haven't been there for a few years now but im assuming it's not got any better?

Did your old man got to school in Edenbridge? I went to that dentist as well!!! And I remember that old DIY store as well

Did you know Mrs Jazman has ties with Edenbridge - her old man used to own Specialised Repairs whicch was behind the FI-Glass factory!!! :)

pauldrulez 17-01-2010 11:20 PM

The Chargers done a much better job covering it than whoever the Chargers were playing did (I can't remember who it was, despite me watching it on YT a couple of days ago)

3, 4, 6 & 7 at Holtye are some of the hardest golf holes in the area....not bad for a little nine holer!! 7 is the one with the totally blind shot to the green (is that the one you are thinking of? although the tee shot on 6 is a bast#rd! from your description it sounds like the 6th)

The last time I played Edenbridge (a couple of years ago) it wasn't too bad!!

Just caught up with tonights games and back to real time.

It was like seeing an old friend again, seeing Romo play like that. The Cowboys stunk, Farve looked good, love seeing his entusiasm at 40 years old.

Yeah he went to school in Edenbridge but I couldn't tell you which one, I think he then went to secondary school in Oxted although not 100% sure.

I didn't know about Mrs Jaz, I take it she doesn't post on here?
