Seems I got a catch. Still, you wouldn't realise that. Would you? LOL!!

I'm not Australian...
So I'm assuming it was directed at kayjay.

Interesting how you would think my post was referring to you as well.

I'm going to have to take an internal flight if I want to make it to Dallas. I know she won't be happy about me leaving for 3-4 days

I'll bet she wouldn't mind one little bit...

I'd much prefer the red button back with the extra games we lost. Also Monday Night Football needs to come back :veryangry

We do. I miss TA, Gameday and all the other extras that the network will bring .. I can't even get excited about the one TA that we get a week now ...

Trust me though, one letter isn't going to do it ... unfortunately ... is it more likely that ESPN will take the rights to show NFL?

Swanny32 19-01-2010 03:09 PM

But if ESPN are only contracted to show so many games in the States covering the UK games might cause a problem for them, unless of course they just show the games they are showing in the US? I don't care what happens as long as Sky realise how big NFL is becoming in this country and how they really need to bring back red button games for both 6pm and 9pm games, TA every day of the week, Gameday, MNF, and maybe some kind of shrine to Deion Sanders, I vote an advert with just a picture of him that lasts for 1 minute on screen so we can all bow before him! Of course, this picture would need to be a modern day suited and booted Deion rather than a playing days Deion, for obvious reasons!

Swanny32 19-01-2010 03:11 PM

It really would be so much easier for them to negotiate a deal with NFL Network

jazman 19-01-2010 03:18 PM

I agree something has to happen but this advert thing that has ruined our viewing in the Uk of TA and Gameday may well be the stumbling block here ...

Agree about Neon Deion ... and whats wrong with him in his 'prime' time? ;)

Swanny32 19-01-2010 03:29 PM

I just sent Sky an email asking if they would ever negotiate a deal with the NFL Network and whether we'll ever see the return of TA and Gameday as well as red button games.

In Europe, ESPNAmerica show 3-5 games at a time.

Bodeans in London shows a different ESPN game in each of their 5 venues.

Swanny32 19-01-2010 04:10 PM

But if you subscribe to ESPN on Sky at the moment, there isn't any football on there at all, is there?

jazman 19-01-2010 04:57 PM

Cowboys finishing last in the NFC BEast? Pfft .. ;)

You just know Paul did that in his rose tinted specs. He even has spare pairs I understand ...

elliott 19-01-2010 05:09 PM

Just think. Some money from every chocolate bar you now eat goes towards the New England Patriots.

:-(.
