Yes.

But normally it's me involved.

This year has been different though :D

Better luck next time.

PS - what I wrote was me trying to break the ice. It was obiously a joke, something you find difficult to grasp :D

Not as funny as me getting messages from people agreeing with me.

Peagle, your comments don't help fella, if anything you are just going to aim some form of abuse in your direction. When someone feels that they are being taken for a ride by someone they feel the need to defend themselves, having someone then say it's "childish bickering" is going to antagonize people more. If Oz wants to vent his frustration at the idiot who thinks that every offensive post can be made alright with a smiley (seriously, just because you put half a million smilies after your posts doesn't make it ok, once or twice is ok, third time you're taking the piss) then let Oz do that.

Swanny32 20-01-2010 11:12 PM

I have actually taken what's his face off of ignore now as I just find his posts too amusing to miss out on.

jazman 20-01-2010 11:16 PM

Anyway, looking forward to the games this weekend. And my falling out of love from football has slowed this week with some great action ... so happy days!

Now what have I done??

Oh, wait...

Carry on ;)

Swanny32 20-01-2010 11:23 PM

I can't say im all that excited about the Jets Colts game but the NFC game should be a classic, maybe even as good as the Cards and Packers the other week, although it'll have to go some in order to out do them.

jazman 20-01-2010 11:24 PM

I think the AFC one will be okay .. but you're right, it's the NFC one that is the main event :p

pauldrulez 20-01-2010 11:56 PM

See, I think Colts-Jets will be a hard-hitting game which people aren't expecting much from.

Whereas I think the NFC game might be a let down. Just got that feeling that it won't be as good :(

sLlll 21-01-2010 11:12 AM

Swan, you take life too seriously. You get yourself too worked up over me. So I've upset you, so what. Be a man, get over it.

Oz, I only don't like Australians that come to England to take jobs off British workers then complain about us English. Australians in Australia are fine with me.

PEagle, you won't have me grilling you on what you said. It's difficult to disagree. Funny that that means Oz should be looking back into that mirror :D

sLlll 21-01-2010 11:13 AM

PS - did I mention I support Parramatta? :D

Swanny32 21-01-2010 11:23 AM

Sliii, I get pissed off at people who think it's ok to go around belittling and abusing people in almost every post they make, like I said in my earlier post, just because you use a smiley face after every single abusive post doesn't make it alright to throw insults around.

deftones_eagle 21-01-2010 11:25 AM

Just starting really getting into NFL (due to my girlfriend being from the States and wearing me down over the last 18 months to watch it!) She follows the Patriots, but as they're out I'm kinda wanting the Jets to win this weekend. Saying that I watched the Vikings game Sunday night and they looked awesome.

Does anyone know if there is somewhere decent to and watch the Superbowl in a couple of weeks in central London?

sLlll 21-01-2010 11:39 AM

Mr Swan, look I'll try and call a truce with you. You've vented your anger and threw all your insults. I can take it.

How about I don't insult you and you ignore me as best as possible?

By the way, in my defence you had called Yankees fans wankers, so I thought I'd see how far I could go with reversing a statement like that. Oh and you Philly fans are always on the case of the Dallas Cowboys, it seemed like open season.

Welcome fella. And thanks for reopening those wounds for me ... :sob: I agree though thethe Vikes were pretty good last week and I kind of have a soft spot for the underdog so that would be the Jets for me ... but good god, don't choose the Pats, make your own decision ... maybe a team that doesn't have any support on here would be good ... :D

There is a special event at Indigo at the O2 that you have to apply for tickets on NFLUK website but you have to be very lucky to get in ... other than that I think some of the guys on here know some places ...

How about be the complete opposite as the goose on here and choose the team with the least amount of money?

Quote:

Forbes magazine, famous for its rich lists, just came out with its evaluations of the 32 NFL teams. No surprise, Jerry Jones' Dallas Cowboys tops the list with a current value of $1.65 billion.

The biggest loser of them all, the Oakland Raiders. Al Davis' once wondrous franchise is now the least valuable NFL club at a "mere" $797 million, plus the Raiders had the biggest operating loss in the league at $5.7 million.
Go for D McNabb and the Raiders. ;)
