A much weakened Surrey side again. Not against new ventures like the 100 but they should be arranged to not affect the County teams. Surrey and the likes of the Yorkies have less chance in this comp than most. |

Yes the two most affected counties playing each other.
|
on that basis Surrey C team have done brilliantly against Yorkshire C team today.
Bowling Yorkshire out for 165, Surrey are currently 45-0 after 11 overs. I would say Kent have been affected but they have mostly lost batsman to this tournament and I can see why no bowlers got picked Durham got 405-4 in 50 overs. |
Another good performance from Atkinson

The vast majority of 4 day cricket played in April and early May and then September/early October. How on earth are you supposed to produce test batsmen in those conditions. Fully expect a whitewash in Australia this winter. Money talks though and the only way to get franchise cricket in the U.K. like the BBL and IPL is to slightly change the format so that county sides can’t kick off about it. The hundred is crap, it’s just 20/20 cricket with 20 less balls each innings and weird rules on bowling 10 deliveries in a row. Absolute bollocks |

Ryan Patel had his beans this morning.
