At least 3 major plays decided by video replays, plays called back for personal fouls that on any other day could be considered continuation plays and would have gone unpunished, and holding penalties that get called at the whim of refs/umpires/judges etc. (much like manhandling in the penalty area in the penalty area at football I guess).

It's exciting for the TV, but as a spectator in stand.... you must have to rely so much on the jumbotron to find out what the heck is going on.

(And I've been to 3 NFL games so know what it's like to actually be there - well not a Super Bowl, but Super Bowls are like the FA cup final.... too many pawn sandwich brigade.... could you hear a difference in the crowd noise from normal today?)

Excellent post! And while on the subject I noticed a very peculiar thing. Whenever the commercials came on, I flicked over to a German channel, ARD I think it was called. They are a public service channel so they don't show commercials, it was like a cemetery while the commercials were on, I was really shocked, the crowd was virtually silent, and sitting completely silent, it was like it was a still photo

In the games I've been to, there is so much just standing around (think timeouts?)

That is why they have cheerleaders to entertain you during the TV timeouts.

Not me..... I dislike anything from the East Coast.

I just thought he was looking for red & blue. Seem the Bills fit the bill better.

Yeah, it's kind of surreal. They wait for the channel to finish their commercials before they start anything on the field, so often the players are just standing around waiting for the go-ahead from the 'fat cats' to take the field

I wonder if Green Bay have them?

Bit cold for flashing the flesh up there?

Just because we don't have any cheerleaders, doesn't mean we're bumbandits

We just don't need any distractions when we roll all over the other teams :p

There's a couple of teams that don't have them, and I'm pretty sure the Packers don't
