Several times I've started to post as Cowboys apologist throughout the season. (And yes, Romo playing hurt). I always thought better, because deep down, even with the possibility the NFC East provided, I knew, and can say, this team ******* sucks.

That defense, Good God Almighty. I can stop the run better than Greg "The Kraken" Hardy. And my only baggage is posting drunk on the baseball thread. Jerry will smooth that over, no problem. I lead on the field and the players look up to me.

Garrett won't be fired because of the injuries to star players, but man I wish some Head Coach would go into that locker room and punch it in the crotch. Nobody has the sac to do so, for fear of the Emperor. Sometimes I miss Bill Parcells. But not that much.

Good for you, haters...I bow to you and fart and fall down. Thanks Palace and Rangers for a fun Cowboys season.

Gotta give Bill O'Brien some credit.

He won games with Hoyer, Mallett, Yates, Weeden and BJ Daniels.

Impressive.

It helps having Nuke as your top wideout, but the rest of that offense is JAG material.

Could be a reasonable division next year if the Colts draft a D and get Luck back, and if the Jags draft a D, and if the Titans draft 40 players!

No doubt but I don't understand celebrating with shirts, caps etc unless it's the ultimate prize. When it's a division win like that it makes it extra head scratching. MLB is the worst for this sort of thing.

Thank God you're Palace or you be short of redeeming features :D

MLB deserves the cap and t-shirts after 162 games in 180 days...don't EVEN get me started

Now here is some interesting news:

Three teams – the Oakland Raiders, St. Louis Rams, and San Diego Chargers – each submitted applications for relocating their franchises to the Los Angeles area beginning with the 2016 season.

Lovie gets shown the door down in Tampa.

Didn't see that one coming.

And into a nice little $1.86-billion complex!

For all the wealth of the Premier League, Palace can barely scrounge together 100 Million for a new stand.

Looks like Vikings v Seahawks will be played in zero degrees with windchill making it -8. Tasty!

There must be someone available that they didn't expect. Lovie is a bit overrated but they really weren't that bad last year

I wonder how Jeff Fisher consistently avoids the chop, he must talk a good game to whomever is in charge.

SteveyHawking 07-01-2016 08:22 AM

I reckon Dirk Koetter was being looked at by a couple of teams so Tampa will promote him from within. He did well with their offense this year. Smith on the other hand did nothing with the defense and that's always been his calling card.

Not sure of the set up for the LA project, but when the Panthers stadium renovation was approved, the city of Charlotte is stumping up $75m of the $112m cost.

I am expecting a similar effort from the local authorities regarding Selhurst

Not sure about previous seasons, but I was listening to a podcast and they suggested that due to his strong ties with LA they would want him to stay around if St Louis ended up moving. Seems to make sense.
