I'll take it.

Losing Dennard at the end of the first killed them. Arrington stinks.

Pats will put up 50 on the Jags.

The morning after the night before. Those that have been calling Dallas crap step forward. We now have a fighting chance of making the post season. It won't be easy but it never is. I so enjoyed the defence getting to Big Ben last night. It took long enough but they hit him hard when it counted. Bracery from Dez Bryant but lots of positives from Romo, Austin, Carr and Dwayne Harris. The latter seemingly another gem of a WR.

Bring on the Saints :lux:

Typical Panthers. Same as last year. Start crap but Cam looks good. Lose to awful teams then as soon as we are out of play off contention we start beating some good teams. :o

Jaserob 17-12-2012 12:19 PM

AP BABY!!! 294 more yards to break Dickerson's record!!!

Latvian Eagle 17-12-2012 12:22 PM

Next weeks Niners vs Seahawks is going to be very intriguing indeed. :p

It's such a shame Filly aren't involved in the NFC BEast this season ... :o

My 3rd article has been approved. Feel free to have a read, and it's not all about the Cowboys this time. More to do with us UK NFL fans ...

:hi:

Cowboys are actually impressing me, Dez seems to finally be living up to his potential and Romo isn't having any brain farts. Considering all the injuries it's pretty amazing how well you guys are doing. Really looking forward to it all imploding in a massively embarassing fashion in the playoffs :p :o

Just thinking about it, Cowboys are starting to remind me of the Eagles 5 or so years ago, very good but not elite QB who can be inconsistent, top RB, and top D, and dumb ass coach likely to ruin things for you on the field. :D

Fair play. I am more concerned that our destiny is very much in our own hands ... But a favour or two from you guys wouldn't go a miss! :)

Your father shows a lot of sense :D

The thing that has been bugging me the last few weeks about the NFL, watching most games as a neutral is the offsetting penalties rule. Seems totally unfair that if a tackle holds a DE long enough for a WR to get free, and then the DB commits a hold or PI that the penalties off set. Surely it should be the first penalty that counts, like in rugby where you go back for the first knock on generally if there is no advantage.

Just seems a rather random that someone can commit a penalty, advantage is basically being played, but then that advantage can be wiped out by a related penalty.

Anyway really hate that rule, along with the catch and making a football move rule on fumbles/ incomplete passes. Surely it should be simplified to you have control and then get both feet down, at that point if you get hit its a fumble. Maybe then QBs wouldn't throw so many hospital passes, which is the problem not the D players doing their job.

Nice article Jaz - :lux:
I remember those games in the early 80's on C4. I'm pretty sure the first Superbowl on channel 4 was Super Bowl XVIII - Redskins with Joe Theismann and John Riggins, but like you I don't remember the first game I saw that season

Cheers fella. I could have gone on longer but that's when you start to loose peoples interest. Short and sharp. I can recall the first game was the Cowboys, I'm sure it was. Who they played, I don't know ... It may have been that Superbowl, my memory is rubbish on most things other than sport that gets me into trouble at home a lot but I just can't recall that far back! :D

CT_Palace 17-12-2012 09:26 PM

Super bowl XVIII was the Redskins v Dolphins in Jan '83. C4, if my memory is right, started showing the NFL at the beginning of the '82/'83 season.

I had 1982 in my head for some reason so that may be right ...
