News from today included:

Steelers' Tomlin named coach of the year (will be the youngest ever head coach in the superbowl). Not the most surprising news ever I guess but worthy of mention.

Flacco named Rookie of the Year by fans as well.

Watched America's Game today. The 72 and 73 Dolphins. Great stories. Makes a change to see a team go all season unbeaten and actually win the Superbowl ... :p

Hmm, shouldn't that award have gone to Cassel or Roethlisberger for being sacked so many times?

So true.

Or maybe for every player Ryan Clark left the floor to kill.

Must have been a shock to see a team win in the play-offs.

Naaa, had already seen the Cowboys win in '71 ;)

Sorry work has banned the BBS (bastards) so don't get on much now, has there been any news on the NFL network coming on Sky?

pauldrulez 30-01-2009 12:02 AM

Not yet, the news wasn't as promising last time I looked.

Nice Sig btw.

Cassel's cap charge will be $14.65million says the NFLPA.

This is not good news for the Pats. Because other teams know that if and when Brady gets fit, they're not going to want $30million tied up in the quarterback position. That first rounder? Looking very unlikely right now. Especially with Byron Leftwich and Jeff Garcia soon to be available for a lot less money and a cost of no draft picks at all.
