The anti-government loons in Atlanta went apoplectic that $200 million of public funds was going to build the new Falcons stadium. Of course, they fail to mention that that figure is about equal to repairs, upkeep and maintenance for the Georgia Dome for the next 7-10 years. Not to mention that most of the public money comes from hotel taxes in metro Atlanta, so it's not really coming from residents anyway.

I wonder how Jeff Fisher consistently avoids the chop, he must talk a good game to whomever is in charge.

Just mediocre enough to never get canned and wins enough games against the big boys in NFC West.

Guarantees a 7-9 finish every year. What more could you ask for?! :D

Not sure about previous seasons, but I was listening to a podcast and they suggested that due to his strong ties with LA they would want him to stay around if St Louis ended up moving. Seems to make sense.

He was also in charge of the Houston Oilers when they relocated to Tennessee.

The Rams were a massive rebuilding project when he took over, with the worst losing record in NFL history.

Him & Les Snead have drafted some great defensive players & the O line was much improved towards the end of the season. We're a quarterback & a couple of O lineman away from being a decent team?

I cant understand all the criticism of him? I think he deserves another draft & season in charge.

Interesting discussions on Cowboys forums.
Jonny Football versus RGIII for a back up role at Dallas next season with the view to taking over the season after.
Would prefer the latter if it had to be one of them as JF and his off pitch antics are a bridge too far. Could then use the 4th overall pick in the draft for a quality DL, Secondary, or WR.

An instantly forgettable season in Dallas after what was hoped to be a big season. Losing Romo and Bryant at the start of the season hit us hard and we never recovered. Never thought I would say it but it was hard to replace Romo with Weedon, Cassell and a rookie all giving it a go. I have to say, Moore arguably looked the better of the three but he is so small for a QB.

An interesting schedule next season, and while it would be foolish to expect a big season after this one fell flat on its face, we have a decent roster that needs a few adjustments. For me, I would like to see us go for a rookie QB seeing as we have a high draft pick for a change and early picks follow in the next few rounds I believe.

Strangely though, I am looking forward to the post season. Often the case as a neutral and a fan of the sports. Good luck to those of you still in the mix :p

Will be heading to a game this year (probably the first game) if I can get tickets after opting to miss out last year for the first time since the international series began. I spent a fare bit on seeing Dallas when they came over the year before.

it started off well and I can understand his frustrations with regards to the long distance, but then it just descended into him patronising the English and it lost all credibility.

Looking to be a bit parky in Minnesota.

Great story for Eric Berry to intercept a pass in a playoff game after beating cancer.

Swanny32 09-01-2016 10:26 PM

I prefer the lady to Kevin Cadle, Cadle annoys the heck out of me and always seems to stumble through the evening.

kayjay 09-01-2016 10:55 PM

F**k, Hoyer's horrible!!!

oz_da II 09-01-2016 11:01 PM

That has to be the worst half by a QB in NFL playoff history.

Bill O'Brien did a hell of a job getting this team to 9 wins because they are god awful on that offense at every 1 of the 11 positions that doesn't have Nuke Hopkins.
