Classic game of two halves left ourselves too much to do but lots of positives to take into next season especially Tyler Lockett.

Probably the end of Beast Mode and a couple of others.

This game is going just as I thought apart from anybody scoring a TD.

Smith was eventually forced to huddle up his offense. Yes, a team down by 14 points with less than two minutes to play actually huddled up to call a play while the game clock continued to run. If there is one surreal image to define Andy Reid’s contribution to the game, it’s this one:

Classic Reid!

Three out of the first four. I cannot pick the Patriots plus the Broncos are my daughter's boyfriend's team so I have to go for Denver to lose the Superbowl now.

I can't see any way the Broncos win apart from Peyton Manning forgetting to wake up.

Pats will beat the Broncos.
Thought Denver looked very average, whereas the Pats and their offense will be better for the run.

Whichever, don't matter, the AFC just the poor cousin this season..

The Antwaan Randle-El news is sad to read, especially as he is only 36. :(

Never say never Kayjay.

Patriots record in Denver is awful.

Ed Hochuli (how is he a top 3 ref in the league?) is refereeing (70% home win percentage)

Pats OL not played 2 good games in a row all season.

I guarantee now, that as poor as the AFC is, they'll still finish within 7 points in the Super Bowl, win or lose.

pauldrulez 20-01-2016 10:49 PM

Anyway, said it a few months back...

Give me an Arians - Belichick matchup. Best 2 coaches in the league. Both play to win the game (cue sound bite).

Kubiak in a Super bowl? Has Earth frozen over?

Saving our best for when it counts most. I'm confident we will play really well after last w/end.:lux:

Eagles fans must be hugely happy with the comments of their new Head Coach.

Apparently, they didn't run a 2 minute drill offense against the Patriots because they didn't want to give the ball back to Brady... Now, they were down by 14 at the time, and there's nothing saying they couldn't have done an onside kick with 3 minutes to go...

For that, and a multitude of other reasons, I think Philadelphia will be looking for a new coach in 12-24 months time.

He's spent too long with Reid, if he has picked up his good points and works out how to clock manage he'll do fine.

I'm just glad that Chip has gone and at least we can start to build a decent roster again rather than cutting and/or pissing off all our best players.

2 years as a Quality Control coach
2 years as a QB coach
3 seasons as Offensive Co-ordinator.

He didn't even have play calling duties for the majority of a game!

To me, that is worrying, but no more worrying than how has Mike Mularkey got another Coaching job?!

SteveyHawking 22-01-2016 01:10 AM

Looking forward to Jim Schwartz as our defensive coordinator. We're definitely suited to a 4-3 set up. Some decent coaches on Pederson's staff. We need a decent outing in both free agency and the draft this year...

I wonder if Jim will request being chaired off the ground again if the Eagles can beat one of his old teams.

Well we're playing the Lions this year so here's hoping... :D

Heard a Tampa OL and Falcons OL on the radio today. The Tampa OL said that at some point they let Winston start calling his own plays in certain situations. The Falcons OL said that Matt Ryan isn't even allowed to audible. They give him 2 plays to call and if he doesn't like what's going on with the first one, he can switch to the other one. Think I figured out why they only averaged 15 points the last 11 games of the season.
