I don't think Moss will leave, unless he has some salary cap restricting clauses in his contract.
I also think Samuel will leave but he'd be silly to. As players like Moss and Seau and Thomas and Welker have shown, sometimes it's better to earn slightly less money but in with a chance of a championship ring... |
Also, registered on NFLUK for my Saints/Chargers tickets... not sure whether I'll be able to go but I'm sure I can arrange a "business trip" to London to coincide with it :D
|
And in the age of the salary cap the stupid teams do things so that they remain at the bottom. Like releasing their best receiver:
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3247718 Even the idiot known as Randy Mueller managed to get a three draft picks for two quality receivers. Did Rich McKay really build a Super Bowl winner in Tampa? Oh, and I like this comment: Quote:

I was absolutely dumbfounded as to how Dave Martin wasn't cut with the 9. Him and M Booker were 1 and 2 on my cut list!

Even when he died he was still causing me problems! The German government rang up in 2006 wanting 3000 Euros to bury him in a basic ceremony. Hell, last I heard he was living in Crete in 2002! (Got out of paying though :p ) |
Yikes, that's shocking.
My Dad managed to leave the price tag on the last Christmas present he sent me (£5 office darts game). Almost better than the countless number of white shirts I got Christmas after Christmas. Actually I shouldn't complain, given that my 15th birthday present was a Cup Final ticket. 1/32 is probably a better ratio than the Fins have had drafting lately, although last year's wasn't dreadful (Ginn and Satele should hold long-term IMO) but clearly not as good as the Giants (all eight picks made the team, six of them were major contributors). |
Man, I'd love the Fins to go after Crumpler. He's going to pick up some serious interest.
|
Fully agree Ben.

Anyone else hear the Greg Brady tirade against Tiki Barber that was played on Fighting Talk yesterday? Pretty funny.
Bonus points as well for giving Steve Foster stick, even though he was before my time as a Palace fan. Never liked that guy. |

I thought I'd read somewhere that the Fins had tried to stop him signing for a divisional rival... but according to that link all three teams in the division are after him!

|
Pleased for Zach going to the Cowboys. It means he won't be helping a divisional rival against us, and gives him a decent shot at a Super Bowl ring.
|
Can you make me a new graphic please Strath? I've just spent ages twatting around to no avail and it's really frustrating. I can't remember how I did it.
Palace Pertemps Bees Natal Sharks Warwickshire Bears Dolphins Sabres Navy (I'd actually like the N version) Ticats Adelaide Crows Ukraine Football. I will happily find you versions of these and upload them somewhere if you want! EARTHQUAKE!!!!!!!!!! |
The Skins have cut Brandon Lloyd  :(
How will we survive? :D |

Of course this has reminded me that I've not done davematt's yet, not good. |
Ha! There's absolutely no rush. I'll get back to you in a few weeks.

Fins sign Justin Smiley. Quietly pleased with that.
|
What a massive opening to free agency for Miami!
G Justin Smiley (49ers), QB Josh McCown (Raiders), WR Ernest Wilford (Jags), WR David Kircus (Broncos), DT Randy Starks (Titans), TE Sean Ryan (Jets) already over the line, with a trade for DT Jason Ferguson (Cowboys) sorted, and a deal for LB Calvin Pace (Cardinals) expected to follow shortly. Can't say I care much for Ryan or Kircus, but that's still a strong start. Smiley, Starks and (if it happens) Pace are particularly noteworthy pick-ups. Good work, Tuna & Tony. |
Kircus is quite a cool character I believe.
