Eric Berry was a great player. Really unfortunate set of circumstances that he went through, first with the cancer diagnosis and then the torn achilles.

9ers getting a pasting.
JG having a right old stinker. 7 from 17 for 77 yds 2 INT. Pull him please.

Are the two New York teams competing to see who is the worst? :moo:

I don't understand from this why the Titans final touchdown wasn't disallowed as a penalty. Can someone explain?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/ameri...tball/54538088

They are on the 8 yard line and the QB throws forward from the 6 yard line. That should've been a flag for an illegal pass. What am I missing?

LSEagle 14-10-2020 08:27 PM

I thought it was a clear illegal pass as well, the only thing I can think of is that if any part of you is in line the line of scrimmage it is legal.

The commentators seemed to imply it was illegal but that as it went up as a touchdown there was not enough evidence to reverse.

You’re right that as long as some part of the QB is in line with or behind the line of scrimmage then it’s ok.

Didn’t look like any part of him was though.

I think you’re right that because it was called a touchdown on the field that they mustn’t have had enough evidence/good camera angle that they thought they could overturn it.

Decent slate of games today, looking forward to all the televised games but particularly Titans @ Steelers. The clocks going back also means kick off is an hour earlier than usual which is a win.

Classic Falcons! What a year they're having

Oh Todd Gurley

The defender letting him going after trying to take him down meant he head momentum so he couldnt go down before the goal line

Great endings to some of the games today

Patriots need to bench Newton and give Stidham a go. It can’t go any worse. His arm has just gone.

Trade Gilmore and Thuney, get some decent draft picks to go with a boatload of cap space, and rebuild!

Comfortably the worst half of football I have ever seen us play.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Stidham if Cam can’t get anything going early in the 3rd, like you say, can’t get any worse! Feel for Cam a little bit as we just don’t have any receivers who can get open and didn’t do anything to sort the TE issue. The 2 lads we drafted have been none factors.

Always going to be a rebuild at the end of this year with all the cap space available. Could have a top 15 first round pick to start it off. Agree with trading Thuney, would keep Gilmore as there is plenty of cap space available with him still on the roster.

We do miss Hightower after he opted out with Covid. Such a leader on that D.

:hi::hi::hi:

Alternatively, a great half (and 2nd half too) by the 9ers, despite the ridiculous injury list ;)

Mind you I’m not sure I’ll have much more to crow about this season. The next 5 games are crazy and we could easily lose them all.

Still don’t think we’ll the playoffs. We’re in last place in the NFC West with .571 !!

Enjoyed that weekend as a Cardinals fan! Mad game, great to watch! Plenty of holes on the roster but going to enjoy it whilst I can
