But doesn't mean they can't be argued with, e.g Vidic & Ferdinand average goals conceded when they both play about 1, Vidic & Evans no goals conceded in 6 games. Ferdinand is obviously better, but stats don't say that.

Maybe lie was the wrong word, but its perfectly reasonable to express an opinion contrary to the statistical evidence

You can't go over the cap. Every move is ratified by the NFL before it goes through. They simply won't allow it.

In the past a couple have snuck through and the teams in question have been heavily fined. They may even have lost draft picks too but I don't have time right now to track down the evidence to support that.

It can be, in terms of the plays that the Cardinals play. Using video footage, scouting etc, they've probably worked out how plays are called and how Warner works them into his game.

The way that they treated Coles and vice versa will mean that the Jets are in trouble and a trade (possibly to Miami) may be on.

This time last year I had some nice bets on the Superbowl.

I had first play as Run at 5/4 or 11/10. Maroney 1st TD and Manning MVP. What can I get this year.

I think the first play will be a pass. MVP will be James Harrison on behalf of the defense. And first TD scorer will be Tim Hightower.

Is correct.

A lot of backup quarterbacks are well respected for this and it helps them in the longterm.

What can they work on with Warner then.

His adjustments, how to flush him out of the pocket where he is least comfortable and maybe his first looks on certain plays.

Here's a quick question, who do you look for if you need a big play and your name is Kurt Warner.

Anquan Boldin or Larry Fitzgerald?

At the end of the season, I would have said Boldin, but right now I would take Fitzgerald ahead of any receiver in the NFL.

Indeed, I find it amazing the garbage the media comes up with sometimes, but that's their job I guess to stir things up.

Of course this is a Super Bowl without any major stories so they like to make them up themselves, like Whisenhunt apparently being snubbed for the Steelers job. Ehm no, Tomlin hadn't even had his first interview when Whis took the Arizona job... :rolleyes:

I reckon the Steelers could win this one at a canter to be honest, however fingers crossed that the Cards pull it off.

Michael Vick is to be released to a Halfway House soon according to PFT.

Supposedly the 49ers are the team after him.

So how exactly would that work out? Could they just grab him for nothing or will the Falcons need to be compensated?

Commissioner Goodell has not commented regarding Vick's possible future with the NFL. However, he will clearly face some pressures when considering a possible reinstatement. In January 2009, PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk was quoted in Vick's hometown Newport News Daily Press: "Saying sorry and getting his ball back after being caught enjoying killing dogs in hideously cruel ways for many years doesn't cut it. Commissioner Goodell knows that he has an obligation to the league and to millions of fans, including children who look up to ballplayers as idols ..." [28]

The new United Football League is also said to be interested in Vick; UFL commissioner Michael Huyghue said Vick's chances of playing in his league in 2009 are "98 percent".

Just watching the Americas game programme on Sky, about the 2000 Baltimore Ravens, the 2nd half of that season they were awesome. I want them to come to Wembley and be the home team!
