Cam could do with a bit of competition anyway, and Kap would be a high quality back up to him with similar qualities if he were to get injured. It makes sense from a playing perspective.
|
Kap will only end up on a roster when he realises he is only worthy of a backup salary.

Awful trade by the Patriots. No wonder Belichick wasn’t happy. |
Just shows how influential a quality QB is to other players.
Taylor, Kittle, Goodwin all posting good numbers and contributing. 44 points on the best D, with no names on Offense. |
I would say that the Jags D is getting worse as the season progresses.
I’ll be interested to see when DC’s get tape on him how they adjust next season. Good for the league to get 4-5 younger stars at QB |

Yes, it will. Yet, hopefully, he will have a stronger supporting cast. Injury to leading receiver and rookies playing key roles, plus an OC who will have a team with a years experience of his scheme, shows a lot of potential upside. |

 :p There'a few teams who could have used a Mr. Quarterback this season. |
Hot game in Georgia.
