Denver. Or the Jags shift Bortles.

I'm still not convinced he's the QB to win anything.

Me neither, but someone will make him the highest paid QB in the league.

Until Rodgers signs his contract extension.

The Browns have 5 picks in the first 2 rounds. This is apparently the best or at least QB drafting options available for years. Surely they wouldnt sign Cousins when they have the opportunity to get a young face in plus young Round 1 and Round 2 talent immediately.

saxoneagle 31-01-2018 01:13 PM

The issue the Browns ALWAYS have is that any draft picks come with high expectations to be fast learners and starters, with no time to bed in. This is fine when you have a good, solid team and you add a couple of rookie starters and give them some game time.

But when your team is pathetic and you're a 21/22-year old QB playing behind a shit line and with no talent behind you or out wide, you're never going to live up to whatever the expectations are.

The Browns need to get a 1-2yr veteran QB and draft someone who can learn from them. Other teams have built from the ground up into good sides (Lions, Jags) but the Browns seem to consistently **** up. Something's gotta give soon.

Would take him at the Jags no problem, decent QB. Jets and Broncs definitely look like the most likely options though.

I don't think Deshone Kizer is that bad; bring in a vet for 1-2 years, let Kizer sit and develop, and bring in more offensive weapons that eventually Kizer will be able to actually work with.

Or are they already going to give up on Kizer? Bit harsh to judge him when you look at what he had around his this year IMO.

I think something is wrong with his chart. Somehow the Atlanta Thrashers, that lasted 12 years and went to one playoff series, have a lower "Championship to Expected" value than the Atlanta Braves, who went to 15 playoffs and only won one title.

(Aw, shit: Expected championships are calculated by assigning each team in a league equal odds of winning the title in a given season and then adding up those title chances over time.)

The Trashers are looking good this season, might win a playoff game or two.. ;)

Why do you say that? I would like to see the Eagles win, I know they are the underdogs, but they share a name with us.

Some sections of Phillys fans are pretty scummy...

Should be a good game with two sterling offences. I think Pats will sneak it with another mad 4th quarter.

CT_Palace 04-02-2018 10:24 PM

you got to think NE's experience at this sort of game will prove too much for Philly.
