Eagles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However, the Foles TD was an illegal formation, but that’s just a refereeing mistake and it didn’t affect the play. The best team won. Not just on the night, they’re the best team in the NFL. In the Patriots case, I have always sided with Belichick over Brady. It’s been close, but I’m firmly in the Brady camp. Belichick and Patricia lost that game. It took a great play by Gilmore and Harmon to keep the Patriots as close as they were at the half. How Patricia has got a job as a HC and Jim Schwartz hasn’t is still bemusing to me. And if I’m the Jaguars, I try anything to get Foles as he would fit them perfectly. I can’t see the Eagles trading him, but I’d have said the same about Jimmy G. Great game. Disappointing result for me, but another entertaining Patriots Super Bowl. A shame I also lost out on 2 250/1 request-a-bets by 12 yards and needed an Amendola TD for a 100/1 pick |
I'm still buzzing!

A belated, GO EAGLES :D
Quick shout out to Paul for tweeting his congratulations to us Eagles boys so quickly after the game, class act, and one I will never reciprocate :p Still absolutely buzzing after 3 underdog wins in the playoffs. i was surprised how the game went, agree with Paul that Belichick and Patricia lost the game, in that they were totally out coached by Pederson. Brady showed why he is the GOAT, 500+ passing yards against that D-line, unbelievable show. |
Don't get much time to post nowadays but thought it was only right that I jumped on here after our big win....at last. Awesome night with Ardeo and a few friends in a London bar watching the game and not getting back to my cousins till 4:30. Little bit gutted that we decided not to go out to Philly for the game but we just couldn't justify the expense with various other things going on in our lives at the moment.
Shout out to Jaz....wherever you are....you must have loved watching that game! :) No longer the bridesmaids! Wooooooooo!!!! |
Garoppolo getting paid!

The Niner organisation is finally, after years and years, getting their shit together.
Tying Jimmy G down before other major QB's pay deals says a lot about how both sides appear to have conducted these negotiations. Both have made their intentions clear, SF believe in Jimmy and he wants to be at SF. He could have waited until Cousins hits FA and Rodgers gets extended, and used that for further leverage. The Niners have made him, for now, the highest paid QB in history, based upon salary per year, but the guaranteed money is apparently around the $74m, with c$90m in salary paid within the first 3 years. That means, in years 4 and 5 the Niners will have the cap space to continue to support him effectively. Also, it would seem that given where QB money is headed, this will seem a reasonable deal in 18 months. So, the Niners have their franchise QB. For a second pick (Patriots wanted x2 1sts last off-season). And they are set to enter the FA period with their stall set out for quality players, should they choose to bid for them. FA's will, for the first time in a long while, look at the Bay with interest. Add in the success of last years draft so far, it means the future looks positive. Amen to that. |
This seems to be the new norm, the worst teams clear out their cap and save it until they feel their in position to use it. The Browns, Colts and 49ers have ridiculous amounts of cap space ready to spend in the next few years.
Trying to emulate what the Jags did this year. |
Don't like SF but that's smart business. I think he'll go on to be one best (if not the very best) of the QB crop for years to come. Pats basically gave him away.

Big money for Jimmy G and deserved too if you ask me. What he did for that team in the last 3rd of the season was amazing, fancy that division to be HOT next year, there is going to be a very disappointed "winning" team there I reckon.

As for that Ertz catch and TD. Stupid rule. He obviously catches it, turns, becomes a runner, takes 3 steps and then dives. All the Cowgirls fans moaning about it and saying if that was a catch then Dez's was a catch are just bitter. |

Receivers ask when they set up, to be on the line or off the line, and the wing officials confirm if they are lined up correctly. Once that has happened, they aren't going to be punished. |

They still have the second largest cap space after the Garoppolo deal. |

The other one should have been overturned based on the rest of this season, but screw it, I’d rather they didn’t overturn stuff on shit like that. There’s a still photo where Clement doesn’t have the ball touching any part of his body, but I’d still rather things like that were TDs. I’m intrigued why they didn’t call the penalty when Hogan was decleated on the Hail Mary. It would’ve only been a five yard penalty for illegal contact, but all the same. Not complaining, because PI should never be called on a Hail Mary, but at least let the receivers get down the field rather than smashed on their backs! |
