Keep adding, we have a decent bit of competition for next year!

BC don't really play the majority of these teams.

Someone pick me a team that'll compete (Stanford or Bama would be nice)

I've added UConn to mine as well, mainly because it's in the NE area.

UConn is a Basketball school mostly Paul. And BC is an ACC school, as is Clemson, so I'd guess they meet at some point.

I know, but UConn have had some decent players coming out the last few years.

Darius Butler in 2009, Jordan Todman is out this year. Donald Brown and William Beatty recently as well.

They're getting better at football though I hear what you've said about the basketball.

Paul, I'm not adding any to yours. It's like your f*cking Superbowl picks where you pick 32 teams then come February you tell everyone how you picked the winner. Pick one, stick with it, and stop being a tool :p

It's OK, he's not having UConn. :D

Yeah, that's about it though. Notre Dame as well.

Since Jaz and Saxon are Texas, i'll go with my original choice of Oklahoma as a 3rd team. Gives me someone to compete against as well ;)

I want a team.

And I picked Pack-Ravens and changed it midseason to Pack-Pats, so I was close ;)

All this is pointless anyway, there will be a NFL season.

Vince Hilaire's Afro 27-03-2011 04:22 PM

Oh right, so Clemson get 'pussies' and Purdue, who are frozen chickens, escape ridicule. I see how this is going to be.

Have you seen how big jlm is? I'm not picking fights I can't win. :D

Yes, they were but two of your 7,983 predictions of SB matchups. Selective quoting is not allowed :D

You can be an inbred, but that's my final change for you.

I'm guessing the college season doesnt start until college does :( Is there much of a build up? How can I follow my team (ie. websites and stuff with news)?

Swanny32 27-03-2011 06:42 PM

ESPN has loads of college stuff during the season although some of the build up shows do drag on a bit if you ask me. Other than that it would be streams, and the teams websites. I also use Sportacular on my iPhone to keep track of scores.

Games start mid-Aug. Usually a training match in May time. Search NCAA 1-A and similar and you'll find loads of stuff around.

I used to love watching 4-6 hours of college game day buildup on ESPN on a Saturday morning. It's brilliant.

I miss ESPN.

Really? I've not noticed, seems like the same people as on here except a bit less of the hyper-obsessed people who always have something "interesting" to tell you about their team!

I'm surprised people have gone for very unpalace-like teams though. I spose its like asking an american to choose a soccer team and then getting surprised when Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City, Man U etc are chosen.

Pick a mid major team to follow, its a shitload more fun! Then maybe root for a few other teams if they're on too. I normally enjoy watching Georgia Tech, Miami and wherever Captain Leach is coaching.

Ideally east coast because it makes the time difference a little more bearable.

Beat Army.

Wanker ;)

Last year, I actually only had a few picks for the Superbowl :p

Of course, I didn't go anywhere near the Steelers, Jets or Bears and they filled 3 of the 4 Championship games slots ;)

And that's good. I'll follow the Sooners but support BC.

Swanny32 27-03-2011 07:47 PM

I also have a soft spot for Texas A&M as that's where my youngest cousin currently goes to college but as my two eldest cousins went to OSU, the Buckeyes became a family thing as there was tonnes of Buckeye stuff laying around any house you went to.

Can't wait to get stuck into NCAA football next season.

I think most people follow a team for some reason or other though, like I follow Texas because my wife is a Longhorn alum.
