Jackson needs to convert that for a TD. Red zone offense is still terrible.

Dogshit start to the second half. I think we can consign this one to the losses column. A .500 season would be a blooming miracle. :grrr: :(

SteveyHawking 28-11-2011 12:27 AM

The Reid/Mornhinweg redzone offensive decision making is ******* ******* USELESS!!! :veryangry :veryangry :grrr: :grrr:

SteveyHawking 28-11-2011 12:43 AM

Defense has been terrible today bar the first quarter. No pass rush, poor against the run and rubbish in the secondary. No clue or leadership on or off the pitch. Pathetic.

Credit to Brady and the Pats offense - they have been first class.

V Young (PHI) 17/32 - 312 YARDS! 0 TD & 1 INT ....

SteveyHawking 28-11-2011 01:04 AM

18 yard punt and Brady taken out of the game sums it up for the Eagles. ******* awful. :veryangry :sob: :grrr: :(

Flat Noodle 28-11-2011 01:10 AM

Tebow with 2 complete passes in a row for 62 yards!

pauldrulez 28-11-2011 01:34 AM

Ka and indeed, Boom.

One missed facemask on the Pats penalty watch. The pass interference (as confirmed by everyone bar the CBS commentary team) was not pass interference, he was coming back to make the interception.

Brady was simply awesome.

I hope that people now see why the Pats have the worst Yards Allowed and one of the better Points Allowed. Bend but don't break, baby!

And Vince Young.

The worst 400 yard passing performance in NFL history.

Chaps, I need an NFL comparison - or maybe an alternative US sport.

Boca Juniors had a legend playing for them in Martin Palermo and whilst he was undroppable he simply didn't fit the style and the team underachieved.

Now he's retired, they've just won the title simply as they no longer had to play him.

This piece is for a US audience so I was hoping someone could give me an example of something similar in US sport?

pauldrulez 28-11-2011 01:45 AM

I'll bow aside to those with a longer history of the game, but the Packers dumped Brett Favre who chose to unretire. 2 1/2 years later, they won it all.

But, that's not exactly what you're looking for, so will leave it to someone else.

pauldrulez 28-11-2011 01:46 AM

Dan Dierdorf is also the most annoying commentator on TV.

He mentioned that the Pats are 32nd in yards about 25 times.

Does he know who are 31st in yards allowed?

That's right, your 11-0 Green Bay Packers.

Dumbass Dierdorf.

oz_da II 28-11-2011 01:54 AM

Dierdorf is a dinosaur. He was terrible 20 years ago.

On a slightly different take, the Mariners lost Ken Griffey Jr, Alex Rodriguez and Randy Johnson in consecutive years. Three certain hall of famers and the 1st season after all 3 were gone, they set the record for most wins in a season.

SteveyHawking 28-11-2011 02:02 AM

DeSean Jackson needs to get the **** out of Philly. The guy is a joke. BIG BIG changes needed for the Eagles.

Was at the Bucs and Titans match today and despite the torrential downpour it was a pretty decent game. There were NINE turnovers, a KO return TD, an INT return TD and Jaaaaash Freeman fumbling a snap on a 4th and 1 QB sneak right at the end.

Got back just in time to see about 90 seconds of the Pats before they switched across to the God Channel to see the Chokers choke. Again.

saxoneagle 28-11-2011 03:21 AM

Next week, we're at Oakland @ Miami, hoping for some warmer weather and a road win. So far the two NFL games we've seen have been home wins.

saxoneagle 28-11-2011 03:29 AM

Great - for some reason my fantasy changes didn't go through this morning :(
