It features Victoria Coren-Mitchell's big old wobs. Used to be on BBC4 but got promoted to the second channel a few years ago.

Poacher 15-12-2020 06:55 PM

But it seems to currently have a Spanish related question in each of the last few episodes which I've been getting.
Andalusia, Murcia, Valencia -- Catalunia - got that in two.

Both the Germans and the Russians seem to have even less plausible provenances for guniea pigs than either us or the French - according to them, they're sea creatures.

I'm not getting "pissy", I am just pointing out that something that claims to be vegan can't claim to be beef at the same time. Its contradictory.

The sausage thing is just to annoy veggies.

Some people do get really wound up by it, 'it's not a sausage unless it's got meat in it!!!!!!'

Well if we're going to get all picky with wording what the hell is a sausage anyway? very misleading, lets call it what it is. Mashed up leftovers (such as eyes, bollocks, fat etc), mixed with bread lovingly stuffed into intestines. Enjoy. Delicious!

Annoyed at myself about this one...

About 6 weeks ago we had our house painted. I got the painters to remove the old guttering as it had seen better days. Got new gutting lined up, but they couldn't get to us until today.

In the mean time I put up the Christmas lights installing all new hooks to make the hanging and taking down of lights real easy going forward.

I just noticed after the gutter installers left that the new guttering is resting right up against the new hooks making it impossible to remove the string of lights and/or unscrew the hooks so I could relocate them.

If the guy had told me, or pointed it out, I could have removed the hooks and lights in 5 minutes before he put the gutting up. Now it's a major project... :wallbash:

Oh well... what else have I got to do?

Some of the descriptions of perfume I have read whilst trying to choose some for Mrs F have put the wine industry to shame for the production of hyperbolic bullshit. Look at the following and tell me what sense it makes.

"Inspired by Annick Goutal’s involvement with artists and intellectuals, Nuit et Confidences plunges us into the heart of an elite evening in Paris, revealing the heart of oriental sensuality. Dizzying heights are attained by bergamot and the full-bodied pepper that gives the fragrance its character. Then comes the frankincense and tonka bean that capture the attention and mesmerize all who experience the scent. In the background, vanilla and white musks turn heads to capture another breath of this extremely refined and feminine fragrance. The indigo pompon of Nuit et Confidences is woven in a silky material and represents a reflection of the Milky Way, echoing the eccentricity of the artists encountered that night."

Isle of Wight 19-12-2020 10:24 AM

I wanted to buy some as soon as I heard the words “Tonka Beans”

Terrace Bickle 19-12-2020 10:24 AM

[emoji23]It smells like an industry disappearing up it's own arse. I've never read such crap in my life... oh hang on I have, it seems to be used everywhere within the cosmetics / health / spa industries. At least we have Brut ads back for balance.

As bad as it is, it will never reach the level of describing a Sauvignon Blanc as having the aroma of cat's pee and that being an endorsement of its high quality.

Maidstoned Eagle 19-12-2020 10:36 AM

My wife directing me somewhere using the phones sat nav, she can't just leave it to track with the cars movements and listen to the directions, she has to keep flicking at the screen to see where we are and where we are going, which then leads to the sat nav getting confused and redirecting us constantly.
