I agree, despite my comment above, there are some mighty fine American beers out there now, both in bottles and on tap.

Water is for external use only, isn't it?

Their lives are about being stuck in the patio all day with the bare mininum required attention from their disinterested 'owners'.

I'm afraid I always do this as we get cars/lorries/bicycles/vans coming out of the blue at a billion miles an hour. Last time I risked it, I ended up having to leg it across the road, slipped up and landed on some broken glass.

I have to do it, I'm afraid, because I'm extremely slow.

You get a 10-second countdown after the 'green man' goes out on the crossing opposite Croydon Univerisity Hospital, and I sometimes struggle to make that. I would never risk crossing without a green man as too many cars go at a fair lick. There ae too many mad bstards out there, so I wait until they are supposed to stop.

It's not our fault he tripped over a hole in the platform that 6 blokes in hi-viz vests have, in between tea breaks, been hovering over for the last month, discussing what will be the best strategy in going forward and filling it in."

The commentators on the Boat Race saying 'Oxford can still win this, they have the Surrey Bank, or whatever'
No they can't.
As soon as any team get their boat 2m ahead in the race they go on to win.
Noone ever stages a comeback.
They need to shorten the whole thing down to a 100m sprint - the results will be the same.
Just bollocks from the BBC trying to maintain interest when we can all see the losers have lost.

Talking of the University of Roehampton, I get really pissed off with the screens at SP being reduced by a third due to the advert zone around them. In the LH they're small enough as it is but with the adverts they're minuscule

So true. Coupled with the fact that these wankers are usually the first to stand when the plane lands and is still taxing to the gate

Reps AJ 27-03-2023 07:03 AM

It really annoyed me when we had boarded the plane and it was only then the couple in front me decided it was the right time to start rooting around in their hand luggage for what they needed for the flight.

Not the when we'd been waiting in the massive airport where they weren't blocking anyone, no it had to be done when they blocked everyone else from being able to get to their seats.

Twats.

Wankers most definately but then airport staff shouldn't roll over and let them take the piss.

Bit of generalization here, but if you get a mob of Hasidics on a flight they are an absolute nightmare for the airplane staff. No matter how many times they are told not to stand up before the plane has parked up, they will. When they're told for the umpteenth time not to open the overhead luggage compartments, they will.
Got to admit, it's becomes more amusing than annoying, as you watch some rookie stewardess reprimanding one for taking his luggage down and right behind her a whole family take this as a signal to drag down their worldly belongings. Of course, once they see the rabbi ignoring the seat belt sign and getting up and removing his nine cases the plane turns into a total shit show.
